Wow! What a massive discount.
The way it should have been is: 128GB should have been discontinued, and 256GB should have taken its place, at the same price.
Whenever I suggested that 128GB should go away, I got so many people telling me that Google will just take away the 128GB option and leave the 256GB options as is, that I am convinced they gave Google the idea to do that.

Hey Google, maybe look at your 3a, 4a, 5a phones.
Put tensor in new A series but make it from resin and plastic.
People who want Iphone are just going buy an Iphone.
Small phones at maximum 500 euros price.
All those jewelry fans are going to Iphone anyways...

128GB storage option has been axed and its entry pricing advantage is gone. Meanwhile, the cost of RAM & SSDs has skyrocketed 6 times what is was a year ago.

Oh my goodness, I'm almost in tears how google has lowered the prices by 20 euros on their 1000+ euro phones that performan worse than 300 euro phones from 2 years ago...
Oh I cannot bear this generosity...
At least pixels had camera going for some people in the past (I still don't think they were great) but now they have absolutely nothing besides being the only brand that graphene OS actively develops for... So not even software anymore.
