      Then you've clearly never owned the new Motorola Razr Fold 2026. The battery life is rated as the best in the world of any device tied with some Chinese phone. Maybe OPPO or Vivo. The battery is double that of the iPhone 17 Pro max. Double. It uses silicone carbon technology. It's pretty amazing.

But, they haven't been the worst in terms of actual battery endurance even compared to some other flagships with bigger batteries.

Even Apple is giving more upgraded every year (even thought they are small). Samsung only tweaking design, giving the same camera sensors 5th year in a row, removing features (Bluetooth from S-Pen or no Wacom digitizer in Fold7).

              Samsung have been using the same battery for 6 years where apple's been increasing every year. Ios with 4750mah could beat android with 5000mah. So, samsung's been the worst flagship in battery life for 3 years already now, falling behind apple in specs,too

                      Have any of you held a iphone 17 PM? It's a behemoth. This phone is going to be bigger @ 10mm and heavier. I've given Apple praise for rearranging the internals on the 17 PM to increase the battery capacity. "At least they did something." That's what I've said. I've also questioned what they would do going forward because the phone is too big. I never expected them to go bigger. I expected them to figure something out, but they're up against physics and/or science.

                      I guess it's a small sacrifice if they out endurance competitors with batteries almost double in size.

                        Well, well, well, Apple's new CEO is putting work already with increasing the battery capacity. This is huge for an Apple device, meanwhile, Samsung ewww. No innovations despite their recent earnings huh. Their durability sucks too, they're what we can call the face of Android and so dissapointing jeez.

                            I think that the iPhone 18 Pro may be 8.8mm thick, with the Pro Max being 9.5mm thick. The large 10% thickness increase for the Pro Max justifies the 10% battery increase. If this isnt the case than I have no idea why the Pro Max gets such an insane increase but the base Pro gets almost no increase.

                                What's interesting is that Apple doesn't lie about rated/typical capacity.

                                Samsung advertises 5000mah, but the actual rated capacity is 4855 mah !
