With expensive SoC, overkill UFS 4.1 etc. I said that maybe Qualcomm will make a special SoC for cameras.. they also have a special SoC for gaming (G series) with basic modem, ISP but performance as fast as the 8 series.

                        These huge periscope modules are simply not worth it. Their size doesn't bring proportionate image quality compared to smaller ones yet they add weight, thickness and compromise ergonomics.

Even the Xiaomi T series which allegedly has the best camera for money in mid ranger is still below flagship level...

                                  all the space is already eaten by the camera and the SoC can't cool itself anymore.. better to just use the 7 Gen 4 and reduce the price by $500.

                                  You're essentially paying a lot for an SoC that you only use for 5% of its performance every day.

                                    It takes actual R&D to pull off something like this.
