New leak points to October launch for the OnePlus 16
Last month, tipster Digital Chat Station claimed that the OnePlus 16 would debut in September. However, the tipster has now revised the launch timeline, suggesting that the flagship smartphone has been pushed back by a month.
According to the tipster’s latest post, the OnePlus 16 is now expected to be unveiled in October, aligning with the launch schedule of its predecessor.
The tipster also claims that the OnePlus 16 will retain a design similar to the OnePlus 15, including the same square-shaped rear camera module.
The 2026 OnePlus flagship is tipped to use Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset and feature a 6.78-inch OLED display with ultra-narrow bezels and a 185Hz refresh rate. It is also rumored to pack a 9,000mAh battery.

Yeah, OnePlus WAS owned BBK, but it no longer is, and yes OnePlus WAS a rising smartphone brand, but it no longer is one. It's simply a generic Oppo sub-brand making entry level phones for India, so basically a dead brand that's also trying...

It will get worse when OnePlus goes over to colorOS 17 , it will be a pain to buy OnePlus phones direct from China Flashed and probably will not work at all ...It's over for OnePlus outside China
