iPhone Ultra gets compared to the Huawei Pura X Max
Huawei unveiled the Pura X Max earlier this month as its entrant into the large wide foldable smartphone space, one that's expected to become pretty crowded later this year with Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold Wide and, of course, the iPhone Ultra (aka iPhone Fold) - which has definitely influenced both the Huawei and the Samsung devices even though it's not even official yet.
Today we get to take a look at an iPhone Ultra dummy unit compared side-by-side with the Huawei Pura X Max in the short video below.
As you can see, the form factor is pretty similar, even though the two devices have a very different camera island design. Still, it's very obvious that the Pura X Max will compete head-on with the iPhone Ultra when that lands.
According to a recently leaked schematic, the iPhone Ultra measures 120.59 x 167.59 x 4.7 mm when unfolded, compared to the Pura X Max's 120 x 166.5 x 5.2 mm. Very, very close indeed. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Wide allegedly measures 123.9 x 164.4 x 4.3 mm when unfolded, so that's in the same ballpark even though it's a little less wide than the other two.
Thanks for the tip!

Huawei definately has time machine. That is why they are able to copy Apple. They know what we did not know. Or just Apple copy Huawei and then marketing does their jobs and inform everyone else they are the first.

I disagree. I mean if i can? Can i? In my eyes Pura X is like a Flip Wide, so it's a clam shell design. Pura X Max and iPhone "Ultra" are book style design, meaning the orientation is different. would you agree with me...
