Infinix XPAD 30 Pro review

GSMArena Team, 9 September 2026.

Display

The XPAD 30 Pro has a 90Hz 11-inch LCD, which feels like a good size for most tablet use cases. Thanks to its 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution, the XPAD 30 Pro ends up with a pixel density of around 275 ppi. That's far from sharp by modern smartphone standards, but actually pretty good for a budget tablet. Text looks pretty crisp in practice, so no complaints there.

Infinix XPAD 30 Pro review

Infinix claims the XPAD 30 Pro can do a maximum of 550 nits of brightness and a typical output of around 500 nits. That's par for the course for an LCD screen, but it's less than ideal for outdoor use. Indoors, this max brightness level is completely sufficient.

It's a budget screen, and it has some contrast shift when viewed at an angle. The pixel response time is far from great too, so you get a bit of smearing when scrolling black text against a light background. Not everyone will be sensitive to these things, though, and they are quite expected on a budget device.

There is no HDR video support, but on a more positive note, the tablet is certified for the highest possible Google Widevine L1 DRM, allowing apps like Netflix to offer full HD streams.

Refresh rate handling

This particular panel is capable of up to a 90 Hz refresh rate. There are a total of three refresh rate modes to choose from: you can lock the refresh rate at 90Hz or 60 Hz, or leave automatic switching enabled. There is also a nifty per-app override menu.

We tried a few high refresh rate test games. Some pushed past the 60fps mark; others did not. It is worth noting, though, that the XPAD 30 Pro is not particularly powerful in the first place.

Battery life

The XPAD 30 Pro has an 8,200 mAh battery. In our standardized battery life testing, the XPAD 30 Pro actually did quite well given its battery capacity. It seems to make efficient use of the power it has at its disposal.

The XPAD 30 Pro posted an 11:46h Active Use Score, which is in the same ballpark as its competitors.

Since tablets rarely have cellular connectivity, we use WhatsApp for the call test in our tablet reviews. In this scenario, the XPAD 30 Pro lasted 49:31h. This tablet, however, has a SIM slot and supports calls over the cellular network, so we also conducted a separate LTE call test. It lasted 51:10h, which is a very good result.

If you don't care about making calls on your tablet, you can remove the call component from the calculation of the tablet's Active Use Score by moving its Call slider down to zero.

Charging speed

Infinix seemingly didn't prioritize charging speed with the XPAD 30 Pro, as it's only rated for a maximum of 18W of power input.

Infinix XPAD 30 Pro review

In our charging test, the XPAD 30 Pro charged from 1%-13% in fifteen minutes, 23% in thirty minutes and a full charge took over three hours.

The XPAD 30 Pro does support Bypass Charging, which is really great for longer gaming sessions. There are a couple of basic charging protection options as well - you can set a charge limiter or let the system set one temporarily automatically while learning your usage patterns.

Speakers - loudness and quality

The XPAD 30 Pro has a stereo speaker setup with what, at least to our ears, sound like symmetrical speakers with the same output.

The speakers are decent, but frankly below average, compared to most recent tablets we've tested. They are not particularly loud, with a GOOD rating in our tests, nor are they exceptionally clear. Voices come through well enough, but highs get distorted, particularly if you use the volume boost and push the volume past 100%. But even if you stay within the normal constraints, the soundstage is a bit flat and dull for our taste. Bass is practically non-existent too, but that is less of a surprise.

Infinix has included a DTS layer of audio enhancements. It offers a few presets, including a "smart" one, enabled by default, as well as a sound equalizer.

Use the Playback controls to listen to the phone sample recordings (best use headphones). We measure the average loudness of the speakers in LUFS. A lower absolute value means a louder sound. A look at the frequency response chart will tell you how far off the ideal "0db" flat line is the reproduction of the bass, treble, and mid frequencies. You can add more phones to compare how they differ. The scores and ratings are not comparable with our older loudspeaker test. Learn more about how we test here.

Wonder what's going on with GSMArena getting Thai units for reviews lol, first with Vivos having not-so-EU chargers, and now we get this tablet paired with a keyboard having Thai layout...

This is real life proof that LCD is just as good as OLED, or even better. You just heard it straight from the horse's mouth. All you LCD haters out there. What do you say now?
