Huawei MatePad Pro 2026 is going global this week

Huawei announced its MatePad Pro 2026 tablet at the start of this month in China and the brand has now confirmed we’ll see the device at the upcoming global launch event this Wednesday (September 2). The tablet will join the stacked roster of Huawei Watch 6, Watch GT 7 series, Watch D3, Nova 16 Pro and FreeBuds Neo, which are all expected at the same event.

The Chinese version of the MatePad Pro 2026 brings a 12.2-inch OLED screen (FHD+ 144Hz) alongside a Kirin T93 chipset, 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. The tablet also features a 10,400 mAh battery with 66W charging as well as a 50MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie shooter. It remains to be seen if the global version will match these specs or if it will bring some changes.
