Honor wide foldable's key specifications leak
Earlier this year, multiple leaks suggested that Honor was developing a wide foldable phone to compete with Apple’s upcoming iPhone Ultra and Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold8 wide. Now, a tipster has revealed the key specifications of the alleged Honor wide-screen foldable.
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, development of Honor's upcoming book-style foldable is being fast-tracked.
The current engineering prototype is said to be powered by the upcoming 2nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset.
The phone is tipped to feature a 7.6-inch inner display and a 5.5-inch cover screen. It is also said to sport a 200MP primary rear camera alongside a periscope telephoto camera housed within a horizontal camera island.
Additionally, the leak claims that the upcoming Honor foldable will pack a battery with a capacity exceeding 7,000mAh, making it the largest battery in its segment. The handset is expected to start at CNY 9,999 ($1,470) when it launches.
