I've mostly used the default app for some basic note taking and it worked well for me. the stylus is quite responsive and not awkward to use. If I find myself taking notes more often, I will look into getting a matte screen protector, although it is not a must.

I am think of it and Huawei 11.5s and I am buying mainly for taking Notes on presentations
But there is no harm in buying something that lasts and may be used for other uses too

Just bought this one, and I'm truly impressed. Honor finally created an absolutely perfect tablet. I had a MagicPad2, and it was good, but there was a problem with OLED uniformity. The MagicPad4 OLED is perfect! Hats off to you, Honor. Great job.

Does it have the same issue with OLED as the MagicPad2, where half of the screen is not true black when watching movies?

This is the first decent size tablet ever to weigh less than 1lbs. Everything else is solvable, wight makes the cumbersome and tablets were stuck to mid 2010s for a decade...
This is the first major step we get towards an actually usable tablet in a long while. A pivotal release. I don't know who talks sh1t on it. Everything else is useless , gathering dust. This is the first decently sized tablet (same size a a small laptop) to be near pound.
Hopefully the rest will be able to follow
