The phone is we excellent.
But I my finger scanner stopped working after upgrading to Android 17.
Please, what's the solution?

Wasted of money. Cameras are poor quality(both rear and selfie).Don't buy this

Is it worth to buy in 2026? Because i got one after 7 years using redmi note 8 and 2 years using sony xperia 5 III( it got millions of green and pink lines)

Duckies, 06 Dec 2025got this girl for 172$(8/128) after year use of galaxy a52,... moreand after 7 months its camera module is all gone idk what excatly happened but i was in beta program A17 beta 4 and then i updated to 4.1 in beta 4 i had issues where rear camera would go all black and if i restart it wont be detected it was happening here and there i reported in feedback and nothing happened and then yes yesterday its all gone it never came back so i decided to opt out wiped phone dang i forgot to recover my obsidian file but anyway after opt out still no its still same camera is no longer detected its long gone i even updated to stable A17 rn still the same ill say its dead i looked around interent and none reported same error i believe its my phone killed its camera honestly only good thing about this phone is camera and its gone idk hwat im gonna do im all broke cant buy new one asap life likes this

Used my pixel 7 with care - never dropped, heavy gaming nor used it while charging but after 3 years it suddenly died.
Nowadays phone dont last long like my mom's M51 or my previous Asus zenfone 2 which last 5 years without problem. And M51 is still running without any major problem even after my mom dropped it thousand of times.

toffee, 24 Feb 2026Same situationGot pixel 7 also. Touch feel, of s21 is superior. S21 gets less warmer than 7. But speed of 7 for routine usage feels better. Samsung software is more user friendly. U will have to learn pixel. It seems pixel using more battery but at around 60 % it feels as pixel is using less battery. If had the software update like pixel I would had preffered s21. But the issue with s21 is, if it's finger becomes faulty you will to replace the entire panel. Pixel finger sensor is repairable.
