Apple now sells iPhone 18 Pro repair parts
After expanding its partnerships with American suppliers for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Duo, Apple has also started selling repair parts and tools for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max through its Self Service Repair Store, along with parts for the M5 Max and M5 Ultra Mac Studio and the M6 and M5 Pro Mac mini models.

For the two new iPhones, you can now buy replacement back glass, batteries, bottom and top speakers, cameras, displays, enclosures, front cameras, logic boards, main microphones, SIM trays, and Taptic Engines, among other parts. Each category also lists the tools and supplies needed for the procedure, such as adhesive cutters, suction cups, nylon probes, adhesive removal tools, torque drivers, and screws, which can be bought separately too.
The replacement camera costs $249, the same as for the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, even though the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max add a variable aperture system. If you send back your original camera, Apple gives you a $59.76 credit, bringing the effective price down to $189.24. A new display will set you back $329 for the iPhone 18 Pro and $379 for the Pro Max, but in this case the return credit is tiny, at $16.45 and $18.95 respectively.

Batteries are $129 for both models, with a much more generous $61.92 credit that cuts the price to $67.08, although the Pro Max battery is still marked as "Coming Soon". The back glass is $159 for both ($120.84 after credit), and the front camera is $199 ($151.24 after credit). A seven-day rental of the tool kit costs $49.
As for the Macs, the Mac Studio gets replacement parts for everything from its Thunderbolt and USB-C ports to its fans, speakers, SSD modules, logic boards, and power supplies. The Mac mini list is shorter, covering fans, speakers, logic boards, and power supplies, among others.
Apple launched its Self Service Repair program in 2022, letting people in eligible regions buy replacement parts and buy or rent the tools they need to fix supported devices themselves. It also offers official repair manuals with step-by-step instructions for each serviceable part.

Basically you can't swallow the fact that EU overcharging you for the same 2 year warranty. What's that Mark Twain quote? . . . "It’s Easier To Fool People Than To Convince Them That They’ve Been Fooled".

I know it's not an extended warranty duck. 2 year warranty is default in EU. What I'm saying is that you need to stop justifying the high price for one more year of warranty. In other parts of the world, we can easily extend warr...
