What do U guys think about this phone's performance by 2029. I mean can it still handle games like COD and Efootball properly without any lag or overheating by that time cuz that's what I'm planning on getting.

Anonymous, 15 Mar 2026I'm planning on getting this phone maybe within the ne... moreFor me as a user of iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 13 I would say to go with iPhone 13 because it will be supporting much more updates and I could say base on what I know from a friend is that his iPhone 13 mini is great but the battery is not that excellent considering it is still above 90 battery health also about the Greenline/screen issue the iPhone 13 is not entirely affected by it I'll just say that don't buy the pro and pro max. About the 12 pro max is that it is good, but the camera is just not that full of features other than the 3-camera lens and portrait of course. But in terms of speed the 13 has an advantage because it has the A15 bionic compared to the A14 in the 12 PM. In terms of daily use of the three and start using them at 6AM The 13 mini is the fastest to die about half a day next is a tie because the I will say the chipset in the 13 is efficient but the battery in the 12PM is bigger so normal use I'll say the 12PM last about an hour or so longer then the 13 but not that big because I do carry a wireless power bank so that also a note you the ones planning to buy especially the mini. In terms of camera quality I'll say both are great but I'll pick 13 more because it has the auto focus in other modes now and it also has the photography styles which the 12 doesn't have, in terms of speed I'll say the iPhone 12PM is faster a little bit because of the 6GB of ram but the A15 bionic is much more efficient now to its somewhat a tie, the quality is also a day and night difference because the 12 pro max has stainless so its heaving signifying flagships and the 13 has aluminum so its light weight, compact, and great if you'll carry it anywhere. Display is also a personal option because the 12 Pro Max is bigger 6.7 then the iPhone 13 6.1 display size but both is 60 hz and both are Oled. In summary do not pick iPhone 12 Pro or anything below because it will just be a waste because its small, not future proof, lacks features and small battery. 13 mini is just a personal choice if you you're a fan of small gadgets, also the battery will drain fast time to time, and it would have a small screen for a daily outdoor living. For the iPhone 12 Pro max choose this if you need a bigger display, Telephoto, Tight budget, Premium feel, and if you just want a brick phone. any other categories it will fail because it is old and lacks some features and future proofing, Pick the iPhone 13 if you need it for performance, camera (without telephoto), Features, updates, lightweight, easy to carry, and a good choice of colorways. Plus do not randomly buy a base 14 because it is just a copy of a 13 with a same chipset and just just say they upgraded the camera. Again I'll recommend an iPhone 13 with its features and it still has some updates for years and for the prices now its good and reliable and good for gaming its smooth and for editing even for college or so its still good. That's all just ask me more if you need to know smthng. :)

I'm planning on getting this phone maybe within the next two months. But, I've heard several rumours about the phone having green line issues on the screen. Initially, I thought it was just the iPhone 13pro and pro max that has this complain but I was surprised to hear from a friend that the standard 13 also has that green line issue. Now, I'm considering going for the iPhone 12pro. At least it has a better camera, I think 🤔. But my problem is that it has a weak battery and I love playing mobile games a lot ( efootball and CALL OF DUTY). With the Base 13 I can get a an all round performance, decent camera and a better battery life. Besides, the 12pro will soon feel outdated cuz I'm planning on using it for at least 2 yrs. So I need suggestions from U guys, is it really true about the rumours on the 13 or is it just the 13pro and pro max, or should I go for the 12pro and maybe try to manage the weak battery in order to avoid the green line issues on the 13 if it's actually true. I mean I can try to manage the weak battery on the 12pro since I already have a good power bank. Pls I really need Ur answers concerning this, I'll really appreciate. Thanks y'all in advance ❤️

I've been using a second hand, 512 gb for 2 years now. I got it from a friend, phone was used only a year before me so it was clean in every way. But assume it had 3 years of service. I've changed the battery once in certified apple service. Iphone 13 is superb. There are only 2 downsides for me, lack of 120 Hz and type-C. Thats it. Besides from those Iphone 13 is unbeatable for everyday user. Also, never had any green screen issues. First time hearing it in GSM Arena opinions. If you are upgrading from 11 or something, go bigger though. Maybe 15 or 16, depends on what you are looking for. Cheers.

Lmm, 21 Feb 2026What update? lol I had this phone for almost 3 years. Got it in July 2022 and had to sell it last year (august 2025). I won't talk about performance and battery as it was fine for me. I used it as my primary device and really appreciated it's camera performance. However, last year, I had this green screen issue while watching a youtube short video. My phone never fell down, had a screen protector, never used it while charging, didn't play games in it, and most importantly, the battery was still at 92 percent. The entire screen turned green, I called up apple customer support, which was pathetic. However, after sometime, the display became normal. Next day I visited the service centre, and got the phone inspected. Viola, nothing wrong. I was afraid because Apple didn't provide free of cost replacement for the 13 base series (13 and mini) and SC said I might have to shed close to 26k if something goes wrong. I sold my device the next day and got a OnePlus 13R (yea, kind of a downgrade but it does my job). While I appreciate Apple for its software and camera quality, this experience has kind of left a sour taste. I still miss that phone, that dense nature and the compactness it had. I will get an iphone, maybe 18 or 19.. but only when apple makes sure customers don't feel cheated....

So im back at 100% capacity and phone works again as it should. If you drop under 80% the phone limits itself to certain level and makes it buggy.
