Technical Product Manager - Integrations

We deliver a comprehensive and fully integrated wealth management technology platform to professionals in the financial services industry.

ABOUT THE ROLE: Located in either Chicago or Oak Brook, IL, the Technical Product Manager for Integrations is responsible for the strategy, delivery, and ongoing ownership of GeoWealth’s platform integrations. This includes identity & SSO integrations, API development & maintenance, and other third‑party or enterprise systems that are core to advisor onboarding, account servicing, and operational workflows. The role owns product direction for integration‑driven platform changes and works closely with Engineering, Architecture, Compliance, and Enterprise Services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own the product vision, roadmap, and delivery for GeoWealth platform integrations, including 3rd party platform (e.g., Salesforce,), APIs, and identity providers.
• Serve as the primary product owner for these strategic initiatives, and responsible for mapping out platform dependencies.
• Define and own the platform standards for API creation, versioning, documentation, and lifecycle management across platform functions.
• Establish and maintain a consistent approach to API governance, including naming conventions, ownership, and deprecation strategy.
• Identify when integration or API requirements necessitate fundamental platform changes and coordinate delivery across teams.
• Own SSO and identity‑related integration requirements, timelines, and cross‑platform impacts.
• Partner closely with Engineering to define requirements, prioritize work, and ensure high‑quality, scalable delivery.
• Coordinate with Compliance, Enterprise Services, and Operations to ensure integrations and APIs meet regulatory and business needs.
• Proactively communicate integration risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs to stakeholders.
• Maintain Confluence and Jira documentation for integrations and APIs to preserve institutional knowledge.
• Support clean handoff and continuity for long‑running integration and platform initiatives.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in product management, owning cross‑functional product initiatives.
• 2+ years of experience working on system integrations, APIs, or platform services.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business and partner requirements into clear product direction.
• Proven ability to work effectively with engineering and technical stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience integrating with Salesforce or other enterprise CRM platforms.
• Background in fintech, wealth management, or other regulated environments.
• Experience defining or governing API standards in a platform environment.
• Background and/or experience in previous engineering roles.
• Experience leading platform changes that impact multiple product areas.

PAY RANGE AND COMPENSATION PACKAGE: Starting at $145,000-$160,000 + Benefits. This is an estimated range based on the circumstances at the time of posting, however, may change based on a combination of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, education, market factors, geographical location, budget, and demand.
