Jul 10, 2023 at 17:44 comment added Questor The "pink tax" only exists because of the spending habits of the different groups. Most men will buy the cheapest razor they can stand. Women will buy their razor brand, even if it costs 8x as much as a slightly worse alternative. (Me vs my wife). Same thing applies to soap. Men will buy the cheapest 3 in one soap. My wife has a specific brand that she buys because + conditioner + body wash + 3 different types of soap I didn't know existed before I was married her ... And she will continue to buy those specific brands regardless of their price compared to similar alternatives.

There was a class action lawsuit in California" The lawsuit in California was against the University of California, which is a public university. Harvard is a private institution.
