    In September 2012, a gathering of men in Naivasha met to discuss issues about this country and how they can contribute positively towards development, peace and progress. It was then that they agreed to commit to advancing Vision 2030, by supporting this great idea and giving it depth and diversity, pluralism and inclusion to the rest of Kenya. Kenyans for Vision 2030 was borne out of a patriotic need to offer working solutions for Kenyan as ascribed under Vision 2030. We are encouraged by the hope that the Vision brings to all and also these men, whose initial thoughts will help change the course of Kenya.

    Kenya is at a tipping point and we must step up and act now.

    As a Kenyan, you are uniquely empowered to enjoy the bounty of this country and contribute towards the advancement of life, culture and the economy. Our diversity and vibrancy gives us an even bigger pool of resources, from which talents, expertise and leadership converge to create wealth and a better life for each one of us.

    As such, we at Amani Kenya 2030 acknowledge that all Kenyans are vital to the development and the growth of our country.

    We support the development, expression, and preservation of peace and peaceful coexistence of all communities, groups and individuals in Kenya. We are working to ensure that Kenyans from all walks of life have hope and appreciate and value this hope enough to participate in making it come true.

    Recognizing the complexity of our social, economic and political system, it is important to cultivate this dialogue and to include crosscutting issues such as local, international and institutional led initiatives that promote and preserve peace, Amani Kenya 2030 seeks to build an appreciation for the qualities brought to bear by each individual, group or institution with whom we share similar objectives.
