March may be coming to an end, but the conversations we started for International Women’s Day are far from over 💚 At Apollo, we spent the week reflecting on this year’s theme: Rights. Justice. Action. For all women and girls. A reminder that progress goes beyond awareness - it’s about action. What stood out most? The power of shared experiences. Creating space to listen, reflect, and engage openly is what drives meaningful change. When we give- our time, support, mentorship, or our voice- we create more opportunities for others to thrive 🌱 And when women thrive, everyone benefits. Beyond internal conversations, we also took action with the women we serve- including supporting women farmers in Nyeri with soil sampling to help improve their yields and returns. 🧅🌽 We’re proud to be building a culture where this goes beyond a single week, in how we support each other and show up for our farmers every day. #InternationalWomensDay #IWD2026 #GenderEquality #EquityInAction

Supporting farmers through climate uncertainty is a critical part of building resilient agriculture. Last week in Nyandarua, Apollo Agriculture, together with PULA and APA Insurance Limited, issued KES 7.9 million in crop insurance payouts to maize farmers affected by excess rainfall, hailstorms, and frost. Through this partnership, farmers across 5 agro-ecological zones in Nyandarua maize-growing territories have received support to recover and continue farming with confidence. Crop insurance plays a key role in helping smallholder farmers manage climate risk and protect their livelihoods. By combining high-quality inputs, financing, advisory and insurance, we aim to ensure farmers can keep investing in their land even in the face of unpredictable weather. We remain committed to building a more resilient and profitable future for farmers across Africa.

Two counties. Hundreds of farmers. One mission: healthier soils for better harvests. 🌽 💚 Last week, our teams held intensive soil testing events in Bungoma and Kakamega. We shared specific soil test results with farmers, walked them through personalized recommendations, and demonstrated how the right nutrients can unlock stronger yields. Farmers had dedicated one-on-one sessions with our Agronomy team to fully understand their results and plan for next steps for the coming season. We also celebrated our incredible Field Officers who completed their rigorous soil sampling training and are now certified to offer these critical services across their regions. This focused work sets the stage for a successful season ahead: Healthy soils, stronger yields, and a more informed farming community. 🙌 #Agriculture #SoilHealth #Farming #Kenya #AgriTech #SustainableAg

🌱 Apollo Planting Fertilizer- powering stronger harvests from the ground up! Our exclusive specialty blended fertilizer, introduced last year, is new in the market and formulated to give crops a stronger start and healthier growth. Unlike other common fertilizers, our Apollo Planting Fertilizer blend combines NPK + essential nutrients (B, Zn, S, CaO, MgO) for complete, balanced nutrition and long-term soil health. Through our Apollo Learning Centres, farmers across Kenya are seeing the real impact of Apollo’s products and agronomy training, translating better farming practices into stronger yields. In Bungoma, Farmer Henry applied Apollo Planting Fertilizer on just 1/8 acre and harvested 4 bags of maize, double his usual yield- translating to 32 bags per acre! 🌽 With better nutrient balance, improved root development, and healthier soils, Henry’s story is proof that the right foundation- supported by Apollo’s agronomy expertise- leads to better, more profitable farming. 💪🏾 #FarmerSuccess #ApolloPlantingFertilizer #SoilHealth #Agronomy #MaizeFarming
