Long Easter weekend iko karibu; getaway plans, ka-road trip, visiting fam, ama just switching off kidogo… kila mtu ako na vibe yake. As you pack and plan, just know; some things unajipanga nazo, zingine zinajipanga zenyewe. Wewe jipange na the fun… zingine tuachie sisi. #AARINAWEZAAR
About us
AAR started operations in 1984 as a rescue and emergency services company. Increase in number of customers created an opportunity to provide comprehensive health services. The company grew rapidly and built a strong brand. As the company grew its business became increasingly complex. AAR Health Services transformed into AAR Insurance in 2012 after being licensed by the regulator. This opened new avenues for the company to start underwriting other classes of business.

We celebrated excellence at our Sales Power Hour by recognizing our top-performing agents for 2025 and awarding AKI certificates to our qualifiers. This achievement reflects consistency, resilience, and outstanding performance. Beyond recognition, the session created space for growth and learning, featuring an engaging and insightful discussion on digital sales led by Alex Mwai, Creative Director at Archer Digital. The conversation highlighted the evolving sales landscape and the importance of leveraging digital tools to enhance reach, customer engagement, and overall performance. Graced by the Group Head of Distribution, James Kamau, the event reinforced our commitment to empowering our teams, embracing innovation, and driving sustainable growth. The event was hosted by Isaak Kirwa, Business Development Manager, Nairobi Region, who commended the team for a job well done. Together, the session was a powerful reminder of our collective dedication to excellence, continuous learning, and achieving greater heights as a team. We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Britam Group Chairman, Mr. Kuria Muchiru. He was a remarkable leader whose influence on the insurance industry will be felt for many years to come. Beyond his professional achievements, he will be remembered for his wisdom, leadership, and the example he set for many across the sector. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, colleagues, and the entire Britam community during this difficult time. May he rest in peace.

On Friday, we showed up where business meets impact, supporting two meaningful charity golf tournaments while strengthening connections that drive growth. At CHRIST IS THE ANSWER MINISTRIES (CITAM) Charity Golf Day at Sigona Golf Club, Robert Wakeni our Business Development Manager, and the team engaged a high-value audience, reinforcing our commitment to community upliftment through education and outreach. At the same time, Wilson Ndungu our Unit Manager- General Insurance, led our presence at the Paul Waiganjo Foundation Tournament at Ruiru Sportsclub, connecting with corporate leaders championing education equity, digital inclusion, and mental wellness. Beyond the greens, these engagements continue to open doors for strategic partnerships, meaningful conversations, and long-term value creation.
