Achieving a Less Than 1% Waste Disposal Rate♻️ After the deconstruction of “The Land of NOMO,” our Panasonic Group Pavilion in Expo 2025 Osaka, we’re on track to achieve a reuse / recycle rate of over 99% for all building materials used in the pavilion, as well as a waste disposal rate of under 1%. 🎉 The steel frame, copper wiring, paving blocks and other materials will all take on new roles in other projects and Panasonic Group products. Additionally, the facade frame and lighting equipment that made up the outside of the pavilion will be reused at GREEN×EXPO 2027, while the facade membrane (called an organdy) was transformed into clothing for a college fashion event just this January! ✨ Display items from the exhibition will be relocated to both OSTEC Exhibition Hall, where companies and government institutions based in Kansai show off their technologies, as well as Noda-Hanshin Ekimae-dori Shopping Street.
