Estivemos presentes no seminário Espaço Indústria, em Brasília, evento que fortalece a indústria nacional e o desenvolvimento tecnológico no Brasil. Durante a agenda, apresentamos um case inovador sobre o desenvolvimento, produção e instalação de um produto criado especialmente para o Brasil, utilizando plástico de origem vegetal e plástico reciclado. Representantes da Prysmian também contribuíram em painéis e mesas de discussão com líderes da indústria, destacando a importância de políticas que fomentem ainda mais a competitividade e o desenvolvimento tecnológico do país. Great to welcome students and professors from Northern Kentucky University to our Nordenham plant! Part of their European supply chain study tour, this group has a special connection to our site, one of their professors, Mark Thackeray, is a former head of operations at General Cable. Always a pleasure to share our world with the next generation of industry leaders.

Prysmian was proud to take part in the Inspiring Girls initiative at Thomas Aveling School in Rochester, close to the NeuConnect construction site. Together with NeuConnect and project partners, we met with 30 students to spark curiosity about careers in an industry often seen as male‑dominated. Our colleagues Raquel Marchena Martín-Francés marquena, Sara Abbenante, Angelica Portaro and Lubna Gemey took the stage as role models, sharing their unique career paths and the lessons learned along the way. Their stories helped show that there is no single route to success, only passion, resilience and openness to new opportunities.

The vessel is on the move. A big step forward for NeuConnect and for Europe’s energy future. Prysmian has now progressed the subsea cabling works in UK waters for the first UK-Germany power link. Our Prysmian Leonardo da Vinci vessel is continuing along the 700 km route into Dutch waters, bringing this major interconnector project closer to reality. At Prysmian, respect for human rights is not just a principle — it is embedded in how we operate, partner, and grow.   We were proud to host the first local peer-learning session of the Business & Human Rights Accelerator in collaboration with the UN Global Compact Network Italy and OXFAM Italia. The session was opened by Laura Figini, Prysmian’s Corporate & Business Units HR and Group DE&I & Wellbeing VP, setting the tone for a day of meaningful dialogue and shared responsibility.   Bringing together experts and peers for an open exchange on Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD), responsible business practices, and real-world challenges reinforced the importance of collective action.   As highlighted in our 2025 Annual Report, Prysmian continues to strengthen its human rights framework across the entire value chain — from enhanced due diligence processes and supplier engagement to targeted training and governance aligned with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.   Moments like this remind us that progress happens through dialogue, accountability, and shared commitment.   A sincere thank you to all participants and partners who contributed to a meaningful and impactful day.  

Desde Prysmian hemos participado en la segunda edición del Foro de Debate sobre la Distribución de Material Eléctrico, organizado por Instaladores 2.0 en Madrid. En representación de Prysmian, nuestro Director Comercial de I&C, Joan Ferran, formó parte de una mesa de debate junto a los principales actores de la distribución y fabricantes del sector, abordando los grandes retos que marcarán su evolución. Durante la jornada, estructurada en torno a cuatro ejes —mercado, digitalización, personas y talento, y visión global del sector—, se compartieron reflexiones clave sobre el momento actual, con una visión positiva del mercado, respaldada por los datos de crecimiento de 2025, incluso en un contexto de incertidumbre geopolítica.
