E COPPEDDÈ NON È SOLO ARCHITETTURA Nelle ultime settimane i colleghi della sede di #Roma di OHB Italia S.p.A. hanno condiviso due momenti speciali al di fuori dell'ambiente lavorativo: una visita guidata al suggestivo Quartiere #Coppedè che si snoda tra stile Liberty, Art Déco, richiami medievali, barocchi e persino suggestioni dell'antica Grecia, ed una serata di divertimento al bowling. Attività semplici, lontane da riunioni, scadenze, cartellini. Eppure, osservandole da una prospettiva diversa, raccontano qualcosa di molto importante sul modo in cui si costruiscono e si fondano le organizzazioni. Certamente esperienze come queste contribuiscono a fortificare relazioni, fiducia reciproca e senso di appartenenza. Ma c'è anche di più: creano quelle basi per la c.d. "Social Facilitation". La definì così nel 1898 lo psicologo Norman #Triplett osservando come i ciclisti tendessero a migliorare le proprie prestazioni quando gareggiavano in gruppo rispetto a quando erano soli. In buona sostanza la presenza degli altri può aumentare energia, motivazione e coinvolgimento. Soprattutto se c'è apertura e accettazione. Anche nelle organizzazioni accade qualcosa di simile. Conoscersi meglio, condividere esperienze informali e creare connessioni autentiche può favorire collaborazione, partecipazione e voglia di mettersi in gioco, riuscendo ad esprimere più facilmente il proprio potenziale. Albert #Bandura ha poi mostrato come la percezione della propria #autoefficacia personale influenzi profondamente comportamenti e risultati. Quando ci sentiamo accolti, valorizzati e parte di una comunità, cresce la fiducia nelle nostre capacità. E con essa aumentano iniziativa, responsabilità e disponibilità a contribuire. OHB Italia S.p.A. @ SMALL SAT CONFERENCE IN AMSTERDAM: INNOVATION, CONSTELLATIONS AND INDUSTRIAL VISION Today, at the Small Satellite Conference in Amsterdam, #RobertoAceti, CEO of OHB Italia S.p.A., presented a #KeynoteSpeech focused on how the “legacy” space industry is evolving in the era of satellite constellations and of the New Space approaches, using the #IRIDE/Eaglet II programme as a concrete example. The message was clear: space is changing fast. Modern missions increasingly require #constellations of small satellites able to provide continuous Earth observation, low latency services and rapid revisit times. But it was also highlighted an important point, often overlooked outside the sector: small satellites are not “easy satellites”. They are compact, thermally sensitive, power-constrained systems that demand industrial precision, rapid production cycles and extremely smart engineering choices. During the speech, OHB Italia S.p.A. emerged as an innovative and highly research-oriented company capable of combining the heritage of traditional space engineering with the speed and flexibility required by modern constellations. Through the IRIDE programme (24 satellites developed across multiple orbital planes in just a few years), the company has built an industrial approach to space manufacturing, reaching production rhythms of one satellite every two weeks. Roberto Aceti explained how the future of #SpaceSystems will depend not only on technology itself, but on the ability to simplify processes, industrialize production, integrate testing activities in-house and use automation and AI-based tools to optimize manufacturing and operations. ADVANCING RAMSES: OHB Italia S.p.A. and HPS Sign MGA Agreement   Today during the SmallSat Conference in Amsterdam, OHB Italia S.p.A., acting as #PrimeContractor for the Ramses (Rapid Apophis Mission for Space Safety) mission, signed, under European Space Agency - ESA coordination, a contract with #HPS GmbH, based in Munich, for the procurement of the Medium Gain Antenna (MGA).   The Medium Gain #Antenna is a key subsystem within the Ramses spacecraft communication architecture. It will support the transmission of data and imagery back to Earth, contributing to the reliability of communications during asteroid proximity operations and to the overall scientific return of the mission.   #RobertoAceti, CEO of OHB Italia, commented: “This contract further consolidates the cooperation between OHB Italia S.p.A. and HPS GmbH on advanced space systems. FROM PLANETARY DEFENCE TO EARTH OBSERVATION: ROBERTO ACETI ON COUNTDOWN - SKY TG24 On 23 May, a new episode of #Countdown – Dallo Spazio alla Terra, the Sky TG24 programme hosted by Emilio Cozzi and #MartaMeli, was focused on the technologies connecting Earth and space and their role in supporting the safety and future of humanity. During the programme, Roberto Aceti, CEO of OHB Italia S.p.A., provided insights into two of the most significant European space initiatives currently underway: the #Ramses mission and the IRIDE Spazio constellation. Ramses represents one of the most advanced planetary defence missions currently on-going, aimed at closely studying the asteroid #Apophis and contributing to the enhancement of capabilities designed to protect Earth from potential asteroid threats. IRIDE is the most important Italian #EarthObservation constellation, as well as one of the largest in Europe, for which 16 out of the planned 24 Eaglet II satellites have already been successfully launched into orbit. OLTRE IL RUOLO, LE PERSONE Due iniziative "leisure", in due sedi diverse, con un obiettivo che va oltre il semplice stare insieme. A #Roma, il team OHB Italia S.p.A. ha preso parte all’edizione 2026 della Race for the Cure, la più grande manifestazione internazionale dedicata alla lotta contro i tumori al seno. Un evento che unisce sport, prevenzione, sensibilizzazione e solidarietà, trasformando la partecipazione collettiva in un gesto concreto di vicinanza e responsabilità sociale. A #Milano, invece, nella serata dedicata ai go-kart ha fatto da padrone una competizione sana, adrenalina, concentrazione, rapidità decisionale, ma anche ironia, spensieratezza e capacità di vivere il confronto fuori dalle dinamiche formali. Si tratta di attività apparentemente distanti tra loro, ma accomunate da una dimensione "fuori dai codici" impliciti e poste all'interno di uno spazio relazionale diverso, leggero, aperto, in cui il "Sé più autentico e spontaneo" e il "Sé adattivo", che costruiamo per abitare i contesti sociali e professionali, tendono finalmente a coincidere. Carl #Rogers definiva questa condizione #congruenza, in cui esperienza interiore, identità percepita e immagine esterna riescono a rimanere sufficientemente coerenti.
