I’m back from Tokyo and energized by the momentum across our global teams. The NTT DATA Group Awards are our global recognition program, where submissions from around the world are evaluated through a rigorous, multi-stage selection process and presented to a global panel of leaders and experts. With 349 submissions this year, innovation, collaboration, and impact were at the center of it all. From AI-powered transformation to sustainability initiatives benefiting communities and the planet, it was inspiring to see our teams pushing boundaries. More than half of this year’s nominations leveraged AI—clear evidence of how deeply innovation is embedded in our work. I’m especially grateful for the warm hospitality and the opportunity to spend time with our colleagues in Japan and to these achievements, share ideas, and look ahead to what’s next. This week, we held the NTT DATA Award ceremony, recognizing outstanding projects and teams from across the globe. This award celebrates initiatives that combine innovation with meaningful impact on business and society. What stood out to me was the dedication, collaboration, and resilience demonstrated by the awarded teams. Many of the projects involved unprecedented technologies, demanding schedules, and complex coordination across countries, organizations, and partners. By working together across regions and leveraging our collective capabilities, we continue to create meaningful value for our clients and society. As we enter the AI era, our next phase of growth will depend on how effectively we advance three priorities: Speed, Scale, and Simplification.
