We are honored to be recognized by the The Times Of India – The Times Foundation National CSR Excellence Award in the Environment & Sustainability category for our “Butterfly Forest” project. The project which is based in the heart of Chennai began in 2023 with a challenge: 1.3 acres of degraded wasteland burdened by invasive species and solid waste. Today, it is a flourishing ecosystem. By adopting the Miyawaki method , we: ✅ Cleared 700 tonnes of garbage and debris. ✅ Planted 12,300+ native saplings (60+ species). ✅ Created 700+ green jobs for marginalized communities. ✅ Established a sanctuary that now hosts 40+ species of fauna. This award, presented at the TOI National CSR Summit, is a testament to our commitment to restoring nature and supporting livelihoods through our #FordPhilanthropy program. 500+ AI practitioners and enthusiasts. An electric atmosphere. Our GTBC Chennai campus was buzzing this Saturday for our largest #FordFibonacci event to date: 𝗔𝗜 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗱. From Franziska Bell, PhD’s opening vision on AI as a long-term responsibility to our C-suite panel on moving 'From Hype to Impact,' the message was clear: AI in enterprise is at a turning point. We’ve moved past the era of simple adoption; the focus now is on how we scale with trust, governance, and a clear sense of purpose to deliver real-world value. It was a day centered on the tangible: seeing real-world AI applications in action and fostering an environment of continuous learning to navigate this rapidly evolving field.
