    The SKOCH Group conferred Brainium Information Technologies with the prestigious SKOCH Award (MSME) at 2022, India Economic Forum and LitFest. The award ceremony hosted at the Indian Habitat Centre on 26th March (Saturday), was the finale to the 79th SKOCH Summit, graced by eminent personalities from across multiple domains. Along with other achievers driving growth for the Indian economy, Brainium Information Technologies was awarded for its contribution to the development in the MSME sector.

    Co-founder, and CEO of Brainium Information Technologies, Mr. Sourav Sinha was given the award by Dr. Bibek Debroy (Chairman of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister of India) and Mr. Sameer Kochhar (President of SKOCH Development Foundation). It was a star-studded event with renowned Indian personalities, hailing from the domains of policymaking and economics gracing the occasion. Brainium was awarded in the presence of Dr. Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Dr. Mohan Kumar, and Mr. Ajay Thakur amongst others. Respected parliamentarians like Mr. Jayant Sinha and Dr. Amar Patnaik, were present as well.

    Accepting the honor by the SKOCH Group, Brainium Infotech CEO, Sourav Sinha commented,

    “These days Unicorns are the headline makers. Well, we are the backend partners of various Unicorns. We develop the product, enabling them to get the funding. But, we never get awarded. So it feels great to be recognized by SKOCH Group.”

    He further commented on fostering women empowerment within Brainium’s work culture, saying,

    “I receive this award on behalf of my co-founders and team of Brainites, which is a gender-inclusive team. Many of our policies are women-oriented, which is quite different from the existing corporate culture in India. We intend to carry on this tradition, setting an example in the industry going forward.”
