Great design delivers meaningful value to users. In this throwback featured post, we enjoy Mitchell Clements’ take that Design shouldn’t just focus on usability. Design should also help create value for users. Saying Product Managers handle “value” and Designers handle “usability” misses the bigger picture. He suggests that design is about helping users experience value, not just making things easy to use. Usability is one way to get there, but it’s not the goal.
