You would have got the drift of the conference by then, depending on what engaged the participants. Build on that and create further engagement with the toolkit that you would have developed over a period. Experience counts!

Nothing replaces a standard template highlighting the current status and a traffic light to attract attention towards amber and red topics. The meeting gets focused on identifying and resolving (offline) critical topics. Tried and tested.

Especially when the remote employee is an introvert, it becomes a challenge for a manager to draw his inputs. Asking the employee to comment on a topic and then actively acknowledging it helps build Trust and a safe space.
