Abhishek More shared thisWe’re super excited to reveal the First Look Trailer of our first feature film - Kingdom Games. Think epic adventure, Pixar-style humor, emotional moments, and big family entertainment — all rolled into one exciting ride. This is a huge milestone for us at Digikore Studios, and we’d genuinely love to know your reaction. And one small request before you watch: please see it through the eyes of a child, not a critic. Our real audience is 6 to 12 year olds — the toughest and most honest audience in the world. They care far more about fun, laughter, heart, and adventure than pixel-perfect CG or tiny technical details. And honestly, they’re probably right 😊 Did the trailer make you smile? Did it make you curious? Would your kids want to watch this film? Tell us in the comments. And if you like what you see, please like, comment, and share this post so Kingdom Games can reach more families around the world. #KingdomGames #Trailer #AnimatedFilm #FamilyMovie #Animation #DigikoreStudios #CGAnimation #EpicAdventure #Kids #Kidscontent

Abhishek More shared thisLast night over dinner with a veteran investor, he dropped a line that lodged itself in my head: “Invest looking through the windshield, not the rear-view mirror.” There’s a reason the windshield is bigger. What’s ahead matters more than what’s behind. We were dissecting the Hollywood strikes and their ripple effect on VFX. For a while, the rear-view mirror showed gridlock: paused productions, budgets frozen, risk-off sentiment. But the windshield? Greenlights returning, new pipelines forming, tech adoption accelerating, and studios re-architecting for speed and scale. That’s where the asymmetric upside lives. Objects in the rear-view mirror are old narratives. The forward view is where conviction is built. Do you invest by past results or future potential? What is one forward-looking sign you watch before investing? While talking, my younger son started sharing his dream of becoming an entrepreneur at a young age, the business ideas he has, the excitement behind them, and the confidence with which he spoke. And as I listened to them, I noticed something simple, yet very powerful. They were excited about building something of their own. Not proving themselves to the world. Not chasing validation. Just genuinely excited about creating. This made me think for a few minutes. Because somewhere along the way, ambition slowly starts turning into pressure. You begin measuring yourself through productivity, timelines, achievements, expectations, constantly feeling like you need to do more, prove more, become more. And without realising it, life slowly turns into a checklist instead of an experience. That conversation reminded me that staying grounded is not about slowing down or thinking small. It’s about staying connected to what genuinely matters to you while life keeps moving fast around you. Not every achievement needs an audience, nor does every phase of life need to look impressive from the outside. Sometimes, protecting your peace, clarity, and relationships is also a form of success. Do you agree? And when was the last time you paused and realised you were mentally exhausted, even while everything looked “fine” professionally? #LifeLessons #EntrepreneurLife #MentalClarity #ProfessionalGrowth

Abhishek More liked thisAbhishek More liked thisThe hardest question I have ever been asked… came from my elder son many years ago. He looked at me innocently and asked: “Mama, what did you want to become when you were a kid?” Such a simple question. But I still remember how silent I became for a few seconds. Not because I didn’t have dreams. But because life had buried many of them under responsibilities, expectations, and “practical decisions.” I smiled and answered: “I wanted to become many things… but I never truly gave myself the chance to discover who I really was.” He looked at me again and asked: “So you stopped dreaming?” I stayed silent. A few days later, I told him something I wish someone had told me when I was younger: “You don’t have to figure out your entire life immediately. But never stop searching for what makes you feel alive.” And he actually listened. Over the next few years, I watched him explore different interests without fear of judgment. Music, writing, instruments, melodies, sound editing — he kept searching for the one thing that truly connected with his soul. Then one day, he came to me with complete clarity and said: “Mama, I want to become a singer and music composer.” And from that moment, he committed himself completely. Late-night practice sessions. Learning music production. Writing lyrics. Recording compositions. Failing, improving, repeating. At the same time, my younger son turned out to be completely different. While his brother searched for his passion, he was always very clear about his ambitions. One day, he confidently told me: “Before I turn 25, I want my name to be among the youngest entrepreneurs.” The confidence in his voice surprised me. Watching both my sons grow into two different dreamers taught me something powerful: One found purpose through exploration. The other through vision and ambition. But both chose courage over comfort. And honestly, somewhere in their journey… I found myself too. Seeing my children follow their passions gave me the confidence to believe in my own journey as a woman entrepreneur. They reminded me that dreams don’t expire just because we grow older. Today, I don’t just feel proud as a mother. I feel inspired as a person. Because sometimes, the people we raise become the reason we rise again. Support your children. Encourage their individuality. Let them explore, fail, learn, and dream boldly. Because success is not created by forcing people into one path — it is created when people are brave enough to follow the path meant for them. Now I want to ask you the same question my son asked me years ago: What did you want to become when you were a child… and are you still connected to that dream today? #Inspiration #WomenEntrepreneurs #PersonalGrowth #InspiringStories

Abhishek More liked thisAbhishek More liked thisIf you’ve seen the Taj Mahal, you’ve already seen Pietra Dura. I didn’t know the name at first either. But I remember noticing those delicate flowers and patterns on white marble and wondering how they were made. It’s not paint. Pietra Dura is an old art form from the Mughal period (16th–17th century), where artists carve marble and fit in tiny pieces of semi-precious stones like lapis lazuli, jade, and carnelian to create patterns. Stone into stone. What really caught my attention was how it’s made. It takes serious patience. Every piece has to fit perfectly. There’s no room for mistakes. And once it’s done, it lasts for generations. While working on our hand-painted ceiling fans at The Fan Studio, we kept thinking that... Can we bring that same level of thought into something as everyday as a fan? Do not copy the art, but learn from it. How something can be subtle, yet so detailed. How everything feels balanced and intentional. So that’s how we started designing. Each stroke was planned. Each element is placed with skill and care. Somewhere along the way, it stopped feeling like decoration. It started feeling like we were building something with meaning, history, and culture. I’ve genuinely grown fond of Pietra Dura. And, in our own way, we tried to bring a part of that thinking into modern homes. #TajMahal #art #Indianculture #loveforart

₹100 Crores. That’s the bet Bollywood just placed on Kerala. 💸 While everyone was focused on the "Panorama x Century" distribution news, they missed the bigger headline buried in the fine print: Panorama Studios has committed a ₹100 Crore slate with Nivin Pauly. Let’s put that number in perspective. In Bollywood, ₹100 Cr produces 1 average action movie. In Malayalam (where hits like Kishkindha Kaandam cost <₹10 Cr), ₹100 Cr produces 12-15 High-ROI Assets. This is the "Corporatization" tipping point. For decades, Mollywood was a "Lone Wolf" game—individual producers taking massive risks. Now, we are seeing Institutional Capital entering to exploit the highest ROI in Indian entertainment. The Strategy: Production: A ₹100 Cr war chest to mass-produce content. Distribution: Partnering with the legendary Century Films to lock down the theaters. The Result: A factory line of hits that don't depend on "Star Dates" but on "Release Dates." The Missing Link: You can pump ₹100 Cr into content, but you can’t force people to the theater without infrastructure. As this "Capital Wave" hits Kerala, the need for Last-Mile Mobility (getting the audience to the screen) becomes the next billion-dollar problem. At Compas NOW, we are ready for the influx. #MalayalamCinema #PanoramaStudios #NivinPauly #100CroreClub #FilmFinance #VentureCapital #CompasNOW #ROI #Mollywood

Pan-India Cinema's Next Big Bet: Akshay Kumar & Rana Daggubati in a Historical Thriller by Dharma Productions Reports point to one of the most exciting cross-industry collaborations in recent memory — Akshay Kumar and Rana Daggubati are set to come together for an ambitious, big-budget historical thriller set in the ancient city of Ujjain. Helming this project is Chandoo Mondeti, the filmmaker behind Karthikeya 2 — widely respected for his ability to blend mythology, history, and high-voltage drama into compelling mainstream narratives. With Dharma Productions (Karan Johar) backing the film, the project has significant production infrastructure behind it, ensuring pan-Indian scale and reach. Rana Daggubati is expected to headline the film in a powerful lead role — a prospect that has revived comparisons to his iconic run in the Baahubali franchise. Akshay Kumar's involvement adds strong Bollywood commercial appeal, and rumours of a top-star cameo could push this into truly unprecedented territory. Planned as a bilingual Telugu-Hindi release, this project is a strong indicator of where Indian cinema is headed — cross-industry collaborations, mythology-rooted storytelling, and pan-India theatrical strategies are now mainstream business decisions, not experiments. What does this collaboration signal for the future of Indian entertainment? 👇 #AkshayKumar #RanaDaggubati #DharmaProductions #ChandooMondeti #PanIndiaFilm #HistoricalThriller #BollywoodTashan #IndianCinema #KaranJohar #FilmIndustry #Ujjain #SouthBollywoodCollab #BigBudgetFilm #Karthikeya2 Akshay Kumar Rana Daggubati Dharma Productions, Ujjain historical thriller 2026, Chandoo Mondeti pan India film, South Bollywood collaboration

Key Responsibilities of an Executive Producer (EP) in Bollywood 1. Financing & Investment Secures funding for the film (from studios, investors, brands, or co-producers). Manages overall budget and ensures financial discipline. Negotiates contracts with financiers and production houses. 2. Project Development Selects and greenlights scripts, stories, or book adaptations. Brings in key creative talent (director, writers, music composers, etc.). Aligns the project with market trends and audience demand. 3. Hiring & Team Building Finalizes the core production team: director, lead cast, DOP, production designer. Appoints line producers, legal teams, and accountants. Ensures reputed crew and technicians are onboarded. 4. Contracts & Negotiations Negotiates with talent agencies, stars, distributors, and platforms. Oversees contracts related to cast, crew, music rights, and distribution. 5. Branding & Marketing Tie-Ups Brings in brand collaborations, in-film advertising, and endorsements. Secures music, OTT, satellite, and theatrical deals before release. Builds publicity strategies along with PR agencies. 6. Production Oversight Monitors shooting schedules, ensuring timelines and budget compliance. Resolves high-level conflicts during production. Acts as a bridge between financiers and the creative team. 7. Post-Production & Release Strategy Approves budgets for editing, VFX, sound design, and dubbing. Coordinates test screenings and final cut approvals. Works with distributors, OTTs, and exhibitors for release planning. 8. Revenue & Distribution Management Finalizes distribution partners (domestic & international). Manages revenue streams: theatrical, OTT, satellite, overseas, music rights. Ensures maximum ROI for investors. 9. Legal & Compliance Ensures all legal clearances: copyright, censorship, insurance, guild approvals. Manages dispute resolutions and contracts. 10. Vision & Leadership Maintains the “big picture” of the film from development to release. Ensures the project aligns with commercial viability and artistic quality. Protects both creative vision and financial interests. In short: In Bollywood, the Executive Producer (EP) is the business backbone of the film handling funding, contracts, and distribution deals, while ensuring the creative team can focus on storytelling.

Recently appeared on NDTV Profit to discuss the strategic rationale behind the Universal Music – Excel Entertainment deal, and why we are seeing music labels increasingly invest directly into content creators and production houses. A few key thoughts I shared during the discussion: • Scarcity of quality music IP is becoming a real issue. As competition for premium music intensifies, labels are moving upstream by partnering with / investing in production houses to secure long-term access to original content. • Capital intensity in films is rising. With smaller-budget content struggling to consistently deliver returns, access to deep-pocketed strategic partners enables production houses to scale up and back larger, more ambitious projects with higher success probability. • These partnerships also bring global distribution muscle — allowing Indian content to travel better across international markets, platforms and audiences, beyond just domestic theatrical or OTT releases. Overall, this marks a clear step towards the institutionalisation and corporatisation of Bollywood, where IP ownership, balance-sheet strength and global reach become as important as creative excellence. #MediaAndEntertainment #Bollywood #MusicIndustry #ContentIP #GlobalDistribution #Universalmusic #ExcelEntertainment #IndianCinema #CapitalMarkets

The Price–to–Performance Ratio Problem in India’s Live Entertainment Industry One of the biggest gaps in our industry today? There is no defined quality benchmark tied to pricing. Two artists can quote similar fees and deliver completely different levels of: • Stage command • Production discipline • Rehearsal structure • Technical preparedness • Audience engagement The price-to-performance ratio has no standardized baseline. There is: – No minimum quality threshold – No structured evaluation matrix – No defined performance grading system And because of that, pricing often becomes negotiable based on the client not the craft. This creates three major problems: Clients don’t know what they’re truly paying for. Artists struggle with inconsistent valuation. Agencies compete on cost instead of capability. As India’s luxury and experiential market grows, this flexibility without structure will only widen the gap. What the industry needs now is: ✔ Clear performance benchmarks ✔ Technical compliance standards ✔ Transparent deliverable frameworks ✔ Structured rehearsal and show protocols ✔ Defined pricing logic linked to output quality Rigidity is not the enemy of creativity. It is the foundation that protects it. If live entertainment in India wants to mature from a relationship-driven market to a performance-driven one, systems are no longer optional. They are necessary. Ember & Edge Where structure meets spectacle. #LiveEntertainmentIndia #LuxuryEvents #ArtistManagement #EventIndustry #PerformanceStandards #ExperientialMarketing

Box Office Analysis : The first six months of 2025 The first half of 2025 has marked an exceptional period for Indian cinema, showcasing a significant resurgence in box office performance compared to the previous two years. In 2023, five films crossed the ₹100 crore mark, including major hits like “Pathaan,” “Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar,” “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan,” “The Kerala Story,” and “Adipurush.” In 2024, only two films, “Gangubai Kathiawadi” and “The Kashmir Files,” reached this milestone. However, the first half of 2025 has already seen six films surpass ₹100 crores, highlighting the growing appetite for diverse narratives in Indian cinema. Notable films include “Chhava,” which generated over ₹600 crores, “Sky Force” with ₹113 crores, “Raid 2” at ₹173 crores, and “Housefull 5,” which amassed ₹182 crores. Additionally, “Sitare Zameen Par” is still earning at ₹121 crores, while “Sikandar,” despite being labeled unsuccessful, managed ₹110 crores. Collectively, these films have contributed nearly ₹1400 crores, marking a significant achievement for the industry. Overall, the box office figures for the first six months of 2025 have crossed ₹5000 crores, underscoring the vitality of Indian cinema. This surge is not solely attributed to Bollywood; films from various regional industries have made substantial contributions. In the Telugu film industry, several titles have excelled. “Anil Ravipudi’s Sankranthiki Vasthunam” earned around ₹187 crores, while N. Balakrishnan’s “Daku Maharaj” grossed ₹91 crores. Naga Chaitanya’s “Thandel” also found success with approximately ₹66 crores. Other noteworthy films, such as “Hit: The Third Case,” “Kubera,” and “Court: State Versus a Nobody,” have further solidified the industry’s strong performance. The Malayalam cinema sector has also made impressive strides, with Asif Ali’s “Rekhachitram” and Mohanlal’s “Thudarum” both grossing ₹106 crores. Successful titles like “Officer on Duty,” “Alappuzha Gymkhana,” “Narivetta,” and “Prince and Family” have also contributed to this success. Mohanlal’s blockbuster “L2: Empiraan” added to the tally. In Tamil cinema, Ajith Kumar’s “Good Bad Ugly” generated ₹153 crores, while Pradeep Ranganathan’s “Dragon” crossed ₹102 crores. Other films like “Tourist Family” and “Madha Gaja Raja” also performed well. The Kannada film industry has not lagged behind, with titles like “Agnyathavasi,” “Apaghatakke Karana,” and “Choo Mantar” showing strong performance. Additionally, Hollywood films have contributed significantly. “Thunderbolts” performed modestly with a budget of ₹25 crores, while the rerelease of “Interstellar” crossed ₹25 crores. “Captain America: Brave New World” grossed around ₹22 crores, and “Jurassic World: Rebirth” opened strong, with “F1: The Movie” surpassing ₹35 crores. Other notable Hollywood releases, including “How to Train Your Dragon,” “Ballerina,” and “Mission Impossible,” have also performed well.
