This partnership reflects a clear goal - use design to elevate how people gather, connect and engage with ideas. This is not just about aesthetics. It’s about creating spaces that invite more people in and shape meaningful experiences. That vision came to life at the 2026 TIME Women of the Year Leadership Forum and Gala. Finding Strength After Tragedy: Sabina’s Story Three and a half years ago, Sabina E. joined Target during one of the most difficult periods of her life. Less than a year after losing her second child to GALD and CMV, she stepped into a new role while navigating grief, motherhood, and a major life change. Shortly after accepting the position, she learned she was pregnant again. What happened next defined her experience. When Sabina was onboarding, her team showed up immediately and her manager led with empathy and clarity. “I always felt like I needed to prove myself, but I never had to at Target. My team rallied around me, and my leader reassured that they would take care of me. And they did.” -Sabina E, Senior Marketing Manager That support removed pressure Sabina thought she had to carry. During a high-risk pregnancy that required ongoing hospital visits, flexibility allowed her to stay present both inside and outside of work. She delivered results while managing real life challenges without compromise. Beyond her team, community also made the difference. Through the Disability and Mental Health employee resource group, Sabina found spaces for connection, including grief support groups and peer networks. Sabina shared: “The employee resource group and monthly grief share, lead by recruiter Anne G., has been monumental for me. Anne does a fantastic job of making everyone feel welcome and supported, and for me, these moments have connected me to others at Target who have experienced loss.” These were not surface level resources. They created real belonging. Sabina E’s takeaway is simple. Culture shows up in moments that matter. And at Target, support is not a statement. Meet Jesús H., a Target superfan. While Jesús was undergoing treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukemia, trips to Target gave him and his family much needed moments of joy. When Jesús’ sister Carla shared his story and asked that he be invited to the grand opening of their hometown’s first Target — it was clear he should be T-2921 Delano’s very first guest. “Everybody comes into Target for a different reason; his being to find that joy was what excited all of us,” said Bradley C., T-2921 Delano’s store director. Jesús, Carla and their mom and dad joined us at the store’s Very Important Guest (VIG) event this past week. The T-2921 team welcomed Jesús with a Target Gift Card so he could make the most of this epic Target run. We're so proud of our team and their commitment to delighting guests like Jesús.
