This week, our Bengaluru office came alive as the Swiggy Builders Club hosted its very first meetup. 50 builders, handpicked from over 2,000 applications, gathered for a day of demos, real conversations, and ideas that could genuinely change how people experience commerce. Swiggy Builders Club is where developers, founders, and enterprises get direct access to Swiggy's live infrastructure across Food, Instamart, and Dineout to build AI-native apps, agents, and integrations that real users will actually use. What makes this different is the community around it. Direct engineering support, room to experiment, and a platform that's actively invested in seeing builders succeed. A big shoutout to the Swiggy MCP team who made this happen from the ground up. You set the bar high for everything that follows. Chapter one is done, but the community is just getting started. Three years ago, PRACHI HALDANKAR joined Instamart looking for an opportunity, but what she found was a chance to build something bigger. Starting as Goa’s first female Instamart POD picker, Prachi learned operations from the ground up, understanding how orders moved and how systems worked. From optimising workflows during the Vagator POD launch to leading teams through fast-paced operations, every experience became a step toward leadership. In August 2025, she became a Store Manager, the first woman in her ecosystem to grow from a POD picker to leading a store. Today, her impact extends beyond performance metrics. She mentors women on her team, creates opportunities for others to grow, and leads a shift powered entirely by women. “As part of the HR team, I had always seen the maternity policy on paper, but experiencing it helped me realise how thoughtfully it supports new moms, stepping into the overwhelming world of motherhood.
