I'm saying it because you deserve to know the actual picture, not a filtered version of it. The freshers at workplaces traditionally started with basic coding, testing, bug fixing and maintenance. But AI is now doing a significant chunk of that. Companies don't need 20 people for work that 10 people and a few AI tools can handle. The competition for every open fresher role isn't just other freshers anymore. It's freshers- - Who already know how to work with AI. - Who can do the output of two people. - Who doesn't need hand-holding on tools that are free and available to everyone. That's who you're up against. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 Who can think through an ambiguous problem when the answer isn't obvious. Who can communicate their thinking, not just write the code but explain the decision behind it. Who treat AI as a tool that amplifies their output rather than a threat they're competing against. That shift in mindset alone separates the ones who get hired from the ones who don't. The market is hard right now. I won't pretend otherwise. But hard markets don't close doors for everyone. They make it very clear whose preparation was real and whose was surface level🙏

Most people talk about GCCs coming to India. Nobody really talks about how they actually pick the city. We have worked closely with a lot of GCCs and honestly, the conversation is never just about talent or cost. They are asking things like, Are there good schools for the kids? Is there proper medical care for elderly parents? Are the offices actually worth working out of? What is the stay like for the team moving in short term? Because at the end of the day, yes it is a business decision. But the people behind that decision are thinking about their families. Their team. Their life outside of work.
