Startup India, DPIIT has signed an MoU with Blue Machines AI to launch Startup Saathi - a 24/7 Voice AI-powered helpline designed to offer guidance and support to over 2.2 lakh DPIIT-recognised startups across India. Through this collaboration, Blue Machines AI will deploy conversational AI technology to help entrepreneurs access programme-related information in a simpler, faster, and more intuitive way. On 25th March 2026 in Ahmedabad, Startup India, DPIIT hosted a Credit Guarantee Scheme for Startups (CGSS) Awareness Workshop, convening Member Institutions, representatives from NCGTC and the Jan Samarth Portal, startup founders, and ecosystem enablers. The session spotlighted CGSS as a key enabler of collateral-free debt financing for DPIIT-recognised startups, offering guarantee cover for loans of up to ₹20 crore through Member Institutions. Key discussions covered: * CGSS framework and eligibility criteria * NCGTC’s role in administering the guarantee mechanism * Seamless loan access via the Jan Samarth Portal * Strengthening partnerships between startups and lenders By reducing lender risk and expanding access to credit, CGSS is playing a pivotal role in strengthening India’s startup financing ecosystem.
