Games on the launch of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight! 🦇🖤💛 Across Side globally, we were proud to provide: ▪️ English #VoiceProduction from Casting through Post-Production – giving life to a brand-new Batman as voiced by Shai Matheson, backed by a stellar cast all around. ▪️ Full Japanese #Localization – including Text and Voiceover – with additional Localization support in Italian, Polish, and Spanish. ▪️ #LocalizationQA testing in 13 languages – Arabic, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Latin Spanish, EU Spanish, Polish, Russian, Korean, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese. We never take it for granted that we get to partner up on such legendary franchises, and this project was a truly special one for all of our teams. Shoutout to everyone at TT Games, WB Games, and our teams who poured their hearts and souls into bringing this new (and hilarious) Batman story to life. 🫶

We made the #DevelopStarAwards shortlist! 🤩 Huge congrats to all of our teams for their hard work! 🌟 Side has been nominated for 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿, recognising the outstanding work of a company supporting the game development community, including providers of creative audio-visual assets, QA and localisation, and production. 🌟 We're also thrilled to be shortlisted for 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 for our work on Jurassic World Evolution 3 alongside Frontier Developments. Using our bespoke “Hablo Dino” system, we helped ensure the accurate pronunciation of 98 dinosaur species and island names during VO recording sessions. 🦖🎙️ Congrats to all the other nominees, and a huge thank you to the Develop judges for the recognition. Since 2011, our teams have provided Speech Technology to some of the world’s largest and most valuable tech companies – and we're now lifting the curtain. Working with human voice talent, our own Side engineers build source data – commonly referred to as datasets – for consumer technology products. Over the last 15 years, we have recorded more than 2.5 years’ worth of data across more than 45 languages.  Our Director of Audio and Speech Technology, Chris Donnelly, shared: “Creating this service line from scratch with a seasoned team here at Side has been a rare pleasure. Speech Tech and traditional audio services aren’t interchangeable, and the talent we’ve grown in-house is just as bespoke as the projects themselves.
