What if navigating learning ambiguity in the age of AI felt less like a boardroom debate and more like a well-curated wine tasting? That's exactly the question we sat with last evening at From Vintage to Value: Navigating Ambiguity Through Learning — an intimate session for CHROs and L&D leaders, hosted by Coursera and People Matters. • Wine tasting curated by Vipin Kumar Singh, Sommelier & Hospitality Professional • Discussion moderated by Sameer Aggarwal, India Head, Coursera for Business • Hosted by Cheshta Dora (She/Her), Head of Research & Content, People Matters While exploring what makes a wine truly exceptional, somewhere between the first pour and the last, the room found itself discussing something far bigger — modern ways of learning in organisations today. Four ideas that stayed with us: (1) Terroir - Culture is the soil: No programme thrives in poor ground. The environment you build with safety, leadership, and space to reflect determines what learning can grow. (2) Blend - Balance AI industrialisation with the human edge: The best vintages are never single-note. Neither is the right answer to AI at work. The craft lies in the blend of technology, judgment, and people's empathy, in scale and efficiency. (3) Maturity - Depth over volume: Maturity isn't age; it's intentionality. Relevant content, real community, measurable outcomes. Less noise, more substance. (4) Finish - Impact that compounds: The right finish lingers. With the right tech partners and agentic AI workflows, humans in the loop, not out of it, learning impact doesn't just measure well, it multiplies. As organisations race to automate, the ones that stand out will be curating learning experiences around these four focus areas. Thanks to all the forward-thinking leaders joining us and making this a memorable evening!🍷 Sita Prakash Babu, Santosh Bayaluseeme Raghunath, Arjun Mohan, Ankur Poddar, Shubhra Singh, Ruchi Raina, Pranati Krishna, Ipshita Chakrabarti, Shashank Saurav, Himani Dhingra, Ravi Singh Bisht #FromVintageToValue #FutureOfLearning #LearningAndDevelopment #AIAtWork #PeopleMatters #Coursera
