L&T Semiconductor Technologies (LTSCT), a fully owned subsidiary of L&T, is the first major Indian Semiconductor product company - a fabless company for designing & delivering Smart Devices for Global Customers. A company that provides Semiconductor Devices and Technology partnerships by helping customers realise energy efficient, high-performance systems to benefit from data, electrification and software defined technology trends. It was a privilege to represent L&T Semiconductor Technologies and Chair the panel on “Semiconductor, Components & Supply Chain localization and Policy Incentives,” hosted by the Confederation of Indian Industry at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi One message resonated strongly across the room: India is at a defining moment in its semiconductor journey and well on the path towards global technological leadership. However, India need not—walk this journey alone. Localization is not about isolation. It is about strategic capability building, trusted global partnerships, and creating resilient supply chain that can withstand disruptions while driving innovation at scale.
