After nearly a decade building satellite propulsion systems, Bengaluru-based startup Bellatrix Aerospace is aiming for a bold leap, developing satellites for very low earth orbit (VLEO), one of space's harshest environments. The company believes its propulsion expertise gives it an edge in this emerging frontier. But with limited revenues, rising competition, and untested technology, Bellatrix now faces its toughest mission yet: proving it can build, launch, and sustain satellites in an orbit few have mastered.
