Mita’s life isn’t a case story—it’s a powerful reminder of resilience. Growing up in a remote village without her mother, she has faced hardship and loneliness from an early age. Now in class nine, she found herself confronting one of life’s most difficult challenges—but instead of staying silent, she chose courage. Despite fear, stigma, and social pressure, Mita decided to stand up for herself and seek justice. With support from GGBK, she is receiving legal guidance, emotional care, and counseling—helping her rebuild strength not just for the case, but for her life ahead. Her journey is not defined by what happened to her, but by how she chose to respond. 👉 Speaking up against injustice is never easy, but it creates change. 👉 Courage doesn’t erase darkness, but it helps you find the light within it. Mita’s story reminds us: strength can grow even in the toughest circumstances, and no one has to walk the path alone. #StandAgainstInjustice #SurvivorStrength #JusticeMatters #BreakTheSilence #EndViolence

🌿 UJAN-1: Women Leading Climate Resilience 🌿 This video highlights how mangroves play a vital role in protecting our lives, livelihoods, and communities from climate disasters. More than just trees, mangroves act as a natural shield against cyclones, floods, and environmental degradation. Alongside the importance of mangrove conservation, GGBK’s commitment to disaster resilience goes far beyond awareness. Keeping vulnerable families in mind, GGBK has taken initiatives to support and strengthen mangrove restoration so that communities can face future disasters with greater safety, stability, and hope. Together, we are building a more resilient future for people and nature. 💚 ▶️ Watch more in this video: https://lnkd.in/g-D75QYb #ClimateResilience #MangroveProtection #WomenLeadership #DisasterPreparedness #CommunityResilience #SustainableFuture #GGBK #UJAN1

✨ When young people lead, communities grow stronger. ✨ At our Sundarbans centre, as a tribute to Rabindranath Tagore’s legacy, GGBK’s adolescent and youth peer leaders organized and documented a vibrant community celebration with children and community members. Through songs, poetry, and shared reflection, they created a joyful space of culture, connection, and inspiration. 🌼🎶 Through continuous engagement, GGBK is nurturing young leaders who are empowered to protect themselves, support their peers, and strengthen their communities. 🌿 💚 Let’s continue creating spaces where young voices lead positive change.

Today, on the day of the West Bengal Secondary Examination Results, we proudly congratulate all students. 💐 Especially those children and adolescents who continued their education despite stigma, emotional struggles, and difficult life situations — your courage and determination are truly inspiring. 🌼 Many of these children faced stigma and exclusion from their communities after being rescued, and re-admission to school became another challenge. Yet, with awareness sessions on trafficking and stigma, along with counselling and mental health support, they found the strength to continue their education and have once again proved themselves by successfully passing their examinations. ✨ We often compare ourselves with others, but every journey is different. 🌿 Whether your results met your expectations or not — believe in yourself. Your future is still in your hands. ✨ GGBK has always stood by you, stands by you today, and will continue to stand by you in the future. — GGBK Family❤️
