The B.Tech in AI&DS program equips students with expertise in modern technologies and frameworks such as Python, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Data Base Management System, Big Data, Cloud Computing, IoT, and AI-powered analytics. Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya at IRC & IREE . 2025 | Student Innovation in Railway Technology Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya proudly participated in IRC & IREE 2025, one of the premier exhibitions in the railway technology and infrastructure domain. A five member student delegation represented the university, showcasing innovative projects aligned with India’s evolving rail and logistics ecosystem. Student Delegation:- Rishav Kumar, Shruti Verma, Shreya M., Durgesh Kumar and Ananthapadmanaban M G S. Featured Student Project During the exhibition, Rishav Kumar presented a poster on: “Crowd Management at Railway Stations using Computer Vision” The project was developed during an internship at DRMO Pratap Nagar, in collaboration with Anjali Chaurasiya and Ashish Kumar and focuses on improving passenger safety and station operations using AI based video analytics. Agentic AI in Action | AI&DS Students Excel at ACM IKDD CODS 2025 We are proud to share that students from the Artificial Intelligence & Data Science program at Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya secured 1st Runner-Up at the AssetOpsBench Agentic AI Challenge, held as part of ACM India IKDD CODS 2025. About the Challenge The AssetOpsBench Agentic AI Challenge evaluated how agentic systems perform in realistic industrial environments testing planning, execution, verification, robustness and fault tolerance under real constraints. Over three months, our students designed and executed a dynamic agentic workflow for industrial asset operations, focusing on reliability, accountability and system level behavior rather than surface level demos. Exploring the Future of Technology at IMC 2025! Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya was proud to be a part of Indian Mobile Congress 2025, held at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi — Asia’s largest tech fest bringing together innovators, industries, academia, and government institutions under one roof. The inaugural session was graced by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, marking a powerful start to the event. The presence of Union Minister Shri Jyotiraditya M Scindia and Delhi CM Smt. Rekha Gupta, who emphasized the importance of IMC as a catalyst for innovation and digital transformation, made the occasion even more inspiring. IMC 2025 was a grand convergence of technology, featuring major participants like airtel, Jio, BSNL India, Samsung India, Ericsson, Vodafone, Qualcomm, Intel Corporation, and various Government Ministries. The event served as a vibrant showcase of advancements in AI, 5G, IoT, robotics, and digital transformation, offering visitors an up-close look at India’s rapidly evolving tech ecosystem. Our university’s stall, representing Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya was placed in the Academia Section, where our delegation interacted with industry professionals, technologists, and policymakers. The team also showcased student-led projects and innovations, demonstrating the university’s strong focus on applied learning and research-driven education. The delegation had enriching interactions with visitors from diverse backgrounds — from ISRO scientists, startup founders, and government officials to industry leaders and fellow students from across India. Many were delighted to learn about GSV’s unique vision and the spirit of innovation that defines our programs. From exploring Ericsson’s AI-driven railcar inspection model to witnessing Vodafone Idea’s CSR robotics initiative and Qualcomm’s AI and drone technologies, the event offered invaluable exposure to the latest technological breakthroughs and industry trends. The highlight for our team was seeing how AI continues to transform every sector, from agriculture and logistics to healthcare and education — a testament to how fast India is embracing intelligent solutions. Bridging Knowledge, Innovation, and Discipline — The Supply Chain Science Workshop for Indian Air Force Officers The Artificial Intelligence and Data Science program at Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya is proud to have been an integral part of the Supply Chain Science Workshop for Indian Air Force (IAF) officers, organized from 15th to 19th September 2025 under the guidance of Program Director Prof. (Dr.) Jitesh J Thakkar, Dean Academics, GSV and Program Coordinator Dr. Shweta Saharan. The five-day workshop brought together 21 officers from the Indian Air Force to explore the science and analytics of modern supply chains. Through expert sessions, live demonstrations, and interactive engagements, the workshop aimed to strengthen the synergy between data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency. Our students from the AI & DS program contributed significantly in organizing, anchoring, and presenting during the sessions. Their involvement ensured smooth coordination and brought a creative, data-centric perspective to the event. Volunteers from the program — Abhinav Kesarwani, Ajitesh Channa, Sambhav Verma, Himanshu Singh, and Harsh Vardhan played an active role in ensuring seamless execution throughout the workshop. The sessions covered key areas such as Predictive Analytics, Digital Visibility, Blockchain in Supply Chains, AI in Decision Support Systems, and Vendor Management, among many others. This blend of academic expertise and real-world military logistics provided a unique platform for experiential learning and collaboration. The workshop culminated in an inspiring valedictory session, graced by Air Marshal Sanjiv Ghuratia AVSM, VSM, Ph.D., where officers and faculty exchanged valuable insights on leadership, technology, and the evolving logistics ecosystem. Industrial Visit 2025 – Adani Hazira Port & Adani Wilmar Ltd. As part of the Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AI & DS) Program at Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya, students from Batch 1 (25-08-2025) and Batch 2 (26-08-2025) had the incredible opportunity to explore the world of logistics, maritime operations, and supply chain management through an industrial visit to Adani Hazira Port (Surat) and Adani Wilmar Ltd. 🚢 At Hazira Port, students witnessed large-scale container handling, coal yards, EXIM operations, and liquid cargo management. An exciting highlight was observing the unberthing of two massive ships assisted by tug boats, showcasing the precision, teamwork, and scale of maritime logistics. One of the most fascinating aspects was the liquid cargo handling system, which is completely autonomous, significantly reducing risks for human workers while ensuring efficiency and safety. With advanced IoT-enabled monitoring, real-time data systems, and AI-assisted tracking, Hazira Port represents the future of smart logistics hubs in India. 🏭 At Adani Wilmar Ltd., students explored the end-to-end FMCG supply chain, including refining, packaging, and distribution of products like edible oils and food items. The integration of automation, AI-powered quality checks, and predictive analytics provided invaluable insights into how technology ensures efficiency in high-demand consumer industries. This visit gave students an unparalleled opportunity to connect classroom knowledge with real-world applications, experiencing how AI, data science, and automation are transforming industries at scale. AI Meets Infrastructure: GSV AI&DS Students Develop Operational Chatbot for Pune Metro 🤖📘 We are proud to share the impactful internship experience of our second-year students from the Artificial Intelligence & Data Science program at Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya, who during their internship with the IT Department of Maharashtra Metro Rail Corp Ltd.
