This week our Executive Director Vikramadithya Gourineni and Head of Infra Business Nageshwar SV visited our Adani Raipur Thermal Plant BoP project site. The works for the 2×800 MW ultra super critical thermal power plant project involves the construction of key auxiliary and support facilities which include coal handling and ash handling systems, cooling water and process water systems, electrical rooms, plant buildings, and associated civil, and mechanical infrastructure. The BoP works are being executed in close coordination with main plant packages to ensure proper interface management, compliance with quality and safety standards, and smooth integration for timely commissioning of the units.

We were part of the recently held IEEMA Telangana Power Conclave 2026, a landmark platform that brought together policymakers, utility leaders, and industry to deliberate on “Telangana Vision 2047 – From Energy Security to Energy Leadership.” CEO of Amara Raja Advanced Cell Technologies Vijayanand Samudrala was invited as a Special Guest for the inaugural session, reflecting the growing role of industry leadership in shaping long-term energy transition narratives and policy dialogue. He also moderated the flagship panel discussion featuring an eminent panel comprising Dr. Harish Samaluru, IAS (CMD, TGGENCO), Sri D. Krishna Bhaskar, IAS (CMD, TGTRANSCO), and Smt. V. Anila (VC & MD, TGREDCO). The panel reflected on how Telangana’s Vision 2047 requires a shift from incremental capacity addition to system-level transformation, with flexibility, storage, and digitally enabled grids emerging as critical enablers of future reliability and economic growth.
