Yesterday at the Tel Aviv Sparks Innovation Festival, we hosted a focused morning at Expo Tel Aviv, bringing together Israeli quantum startups, industry leaders, investors, and leading researchers - all aligned around one shared goal: turning world-class science into an ecosystem that scales.
The event, moderated by Tali Mayer-Chissick, opened with Qubit IL CEO Tami Mazel Shachar, presenting Qubit IL’s vision for an ecosystem that works together around shared goals.
𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐲
🚀 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐦 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 101 + 𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 — led by Gal Bar Dea, the conversation has clearly shifted from "what is quantum?" to "where do we create real value, and how fast can we scale it?"
🛠️ 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞 — a strong signal of depth across hardware, software, and security. We saw incredible showcases from: Tal David (Quantum Art), Alon Cohen (QuamCore), Nir Sharon (Quantum X Labs), Shmuel Bachinsky (Quantum Transistors), Emanuele Dalla Torre (QuantyMize, Quantum advance LTD), Hagai Eisenberg (HEQA Security), Sheir Yarkoni (Qarakal Quantum), and Lior Gazit (Classiq).
🧠 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 — outstanding perspectives and research excellence by Prof. Eliahu Cohen from Bar-Ilan University.
🧩 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭 & 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐥 — moderated by Shir Peri Lichtig, a candid look at the roles the ecosystem needs now (engineering, product, business, and more), featuring Lee Leibovich (Classiq), Saray Ben-Meir (QuantumArt), Hila Manoach (Quantum Machines), and Maya Benichou (Entrée Capital).
✨ 𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐢-𝐅𝐢 — our plenary session with Dorit Dor, Prof.Ofer Firstenberg, Tal Inbar, and Nir Minerbi made it clear that the opportunities for the Israeli ecosystem are immediate and tangible.
