  • Optimization is winning. Efficiency metrics. Productivity gains. Clear ROI. But some engineers are asking a harder question: If optimization becomes the priority, what happens to creativity? In the 2026 Industrial Technology Index, many engineers say they worry companies may focus too heavily on AI-driven optimization instead of protecting human-led problem-solving.   So we’re putting the question to you. Will AI strengthen or weaken creativity in engineering? Cast your vote in the poll. Then explore the full report to see how engineers and executives around the world answered the same question. https://lnkd.in/eqRV_M4N

  • Employee Resource Groups help bring a company’s culture to life. They create space for employees to connect, share perspectives, and work together to strengthen the communities that make up our organization. That spirit of collaboration was on display recently when leaders from TE Connectivity’s eight ERGs met with our Chairman of the Board, John Davidson, to discuss the impact ERGs have on engagement, inclusion, and connection across TE. The meeting was led by our African Heritage ERG, whose Co-Chair Vera Verdee reflected on the biggest takeaways: “Progress is not always linear. Sometimes you have setbacks. Some inflections won’t go your way, but continue to achieve and stay focused on the objectives.” Moments like this help strengthen the connections that power our culture. • The spec is still evolving. The timeline isn’t. And the design still has to move forward. Engineers today must iterate faster and solve problems while the full picture is still coming into focus. Shad Kroeger, President of Industrial Solutions at TE Connectivity, breaks down three realities engineers are navigating right now. The last one changes how engineers think about the work. • What happens when early‑career talent gets direct access to the CEO? Perspective shifts. When rising talent has visibility to senior leadership, it can shape not just their development but their entire career trajectory. That’s the foundation of ASPIRE, our development program that pairs rotational associates with senior leaders for focused conversations about long‑term growth, impact, and intentional career planning. Recently, Brennan Shiffler was recognized for creating an exceptional Intentional Development Plan rooted in the three pillars of growth: education, exposure, and experience. That work opened an unexpected door, a conversation with our CEO, Terrence Curtin. At TE Connectivity, investing in early careers means creating access, accelerating opportunities, and opening doors. #LifeAtTE #EmergingTalent #CareerGrowth

  • Careers in operations aren’t built on straight lines, and strong leadership doesn’t come from perfection. In Electronic Specifier Ltd’s Women in Tech feature, Christy Norrod, Vice President of Integrated Operations at TE Connectivity, shares lessons from nearly three decades on the factory floor. From embracing vulnerability to learning from setbacks, her story reflects the realities and rewards of building a career in operations. Thought leadership like this helps shape how we think about leadership, inclusion, and growth in manufacturing and is why operational experience matters more than ever. 🔗 Read the full article: https://lnkd.in/gGgayyqy #WomenInTech #Operations #Leadership #Manufacturing #ThoughtLeadership #TEConnectivity

  • The hardest emissions to reduce are the ones you don't directly control. Scope 3 emissions (the ones that come from supply chains, transportation, and how products are used) account for the majority of most companies' carbon footprint. That's why tackling Scope 3 is a cornerstone of our One Connected World strategy. See how five years of One Connected World has made a difference. https://lnkd.in/gBFSB8p7

  • Early-career professionals do not just need opportunity. They need guidance. Through ASPIRE, our rotational associates are paired with senior leaders to have honest conversations about growth, ambition, and long-term career direction. Sierra Hoefler was recently recognized in our Emerging Talent Development Workshop for building a thoughtful Intentional Development Plan focused on education, exposure, and experience. Strategic thinking at any stage of your career takes courage. Doing it early sets the foundation for long-term impact. At TE Connectivity, investing in emerging talent is not a program.
