The delivery and commissioning of the MRI machine marks the final chapter in what has been a fantastic project for Quantum Polyclinic in Galway. From early planning through to this highly complex installation, the success of the project was made possible through the close collaboration, coordination, and the commitment of everyone involved. Ireland’s James Reidy has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer for Structure Tone International, part of the STO Building Group.   James has been with Structure Tone for over 25 years and he has played a key role in growing the firm’s corporate interiors, data centre, and repositioning sectors. Structure Tone recently arranged a fun day of activities to recognise and celebrate 2+ years of consistent project delivery across multiple phases with one of our Data Centre clients. The day began with a mixed team go-karting grand prix event. Congrats to the winning team consisting of Red Engineering, Buro4 and Structure Tone. The evening event was hosted on a vintage barge along the Spaarne River in Haarlem. A major milestone was achieved recently on our Workday project with some serious lifting! A 350T crane was mobilised for critical lifts to the Level 10 plant space, requiring sections of the metal roof to be opened for safe and efficient access. Key items included a generator with big foot system (~6 tones), an electrical off-loader panel (500kg), and generator fuel pipework with associated containment. We’re delighted to have partnered with Thermo Fisher Scientific as main contractor for their Warehouse and Office CAT B fit out delivering a new storage and distribution facility within an existing building. The project included a full warehouse fit out, including specialised storage vaults, high-quality internal finishes, fittings and furnishings, complete M&E installation, and external works which transformed this space into a modern, efficient environment ready to support critical operations.
