  • Energy prices are rising again — and it’s not just local. This piece from RTE highlights how global instability, including the war in Iran, is already impacting energy markets and pushing costs upward. 👉 https://lnkd.in/d9vbEMrB With disruption to oil supply routes and increased volatility, households and businesses are once again being reminded how exposed we are to global energy events. We’re seeing this translate directly on the ground — more people across Ireland looking at solar not just for sustainability, but for cost certainty and energy independence. The shift is subtle, but important: This is no longer just about “going green” — it’s about reducing reliance on an increasingly unpredictable system. If it’s something you’ve been considering, now is a good time to start understanding your options. #SolarIreland #EnergyCosts #Renewables #EnergySecurity

  • Another strong signal of demand in the renewables sector. A full artic load of solar panels delivered to our team last week, as activity continues to ramp up across residential and commercial projects in the North West. We’re seeing a clear shift — more homeowners and businesses are planning ahead, looking for long-term energy stability and cost control. The conversation has moved beyond “if” to “when”.

  • Great few days in New York at the Installer Show 🇺🇸 While over there, Jonathan and Jamie took the chance to attend, catch up with Pablo Gándara Iglesias from the Ecoforest team, and see first-hand the latest technologies shaping the HVAC and renewables space. We always place a strong focus on staying up to date — and it’s clear innovation in heat technology and system efficiency is moving fast. Looking forward to bringing some of these insights back home. Exciting times ahead. #RenewableEnergy #HeatPumps #HVAC #Innovation #Ecoforest

  • Big things happening in the heat pump space right now 👀 The Ecoforest team are heading to Milan next week for one of Europe’s biggest energy and HVAC exhibitions. What’s exciting isn’t just the event — it’s what comes back from it. At Efficient Renewables, we’re constantly looking at how international innovation can translate into real-world solutions for homes and businesses here in the North West. From system efficiency to smarter controls and better integration — this space is moving fast. We’ll be keeping a close eye on what comes out of MCE and what it means for the Irish market. 👉 The question is no longer if people will transition to renewable heating… 👉 It’s how well it’s designed and installed #heatpumps #renewableenergy #donegal #energyefficiency

  • 💡 Did you know a heat pump system often starts long before the unit is installed? When people think about heat pumps, they usually picture the unit beside the house. But the reality is that the design and infrastructure behind the system is what makes the real difference to performance. From groundworks and collectors… to pipe layouts, plant rooms and controls… every element plays a role in delivering efficient heating for a home or business. We’re seeing a significant increase in interest in heat pumps at the moment, so over the coming weeks we’ll be sharing more insights into how these systems actually work and what makes a well-designed installation. 👉 Follow our page if you’d like to learn more about renewable heating solutions. #HeatPumps #RenewableEnergy #SustainableHeating #Donegal #EnergyTransition

  • POV: You’re looking at the part of a heating system that most people never see — but it’s where the real design work happens. Underfloor heating isn’t just about putting pipes in the floor. The layout of those loops determines how evenly heat spreads throughout the house. At Efficient Renewables we design the pipework so the loops run wider and return across the space, helping distribute heat more evenly rather than concentrating warmth in one area. It’s one of the small design details that makes a big difference to comfort once the house is finished.

  • 7 things home and business owners often overlook before installing solar panels ☀️ Interesting piece from The Independent highlighting some of the less obvious factors that affect solar performance — from roof shading to how energy is actually used in the home. These details can have a bigger impact than many people realise when it comes to system efficiency and long-term savings. Worth a read for anyone considering solar in the coming years as adoption continues to grow across Ireland. https://lnkd.in/eyceAfbb
