A huge milestone for our team as we attended the practical completion at Sunderland Specialist Eye Hospital this afternoon. Ryder has been working with Sunderland City Council, South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust, the Riverside Sunderland masterplanning team and Kier Construction since 2020 to design and deliver the new hospital in close collaboration with staff, patient and community groups. We are extremely proud of this transformational project and are excited to see it open in summer. #Everythingarchitecture Turner & Townsend, Cundall, ONE Environments, Lichfields UK, CAD 21 Ltd

An exciting new chapter for Stockton is beginning, with the gardens taking shape at Stockton Urban Park and Waterfront. The landscape design, delivered by our team in partnership with Nigel Dunnett (1962-2026), a world leading pioneer in modern landscape design, is set to grow and flourish with the seasons. 🌱 In spring, early perennials and bulbs offer the first splashes of colour. 🌻 Into summer, plants reach their full height, creating a lush tapestry of colours. 🍂 Come autumn, as flowers fade, the colour shifts to ambers and golds. Intricate seedheads form, providing food for birds. ❄️ And in winter, instead of bare soil, you will see frosted stems, dried grasses and architectural trees. We're looking forward to documenting the story and seeing the park open in summer. Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council, Esh Group #landscapearchitecture #urbanpark #landscapes

A major construction milestone has been reached at Argyll and Bute Council’s new business park at Oban Airport, with the completion of the steel frame for the main building. Designed to support the growth of a regional cluster for aviation, engineering and logistics, the business park will help create opportunities for investment and employment in the area. To mark the occasion, project partners from Argyll and Bute Council, hub North Scotland Limited and Robertson Construction Northern signed the steel frame ahead of it being enclosed within the building. Ian Phillips, Regional Managing Director, Robertson Construction Northern, said: “The completion of the steel frame provides a clear visual indication of how the site is taking shape and the role it will play in supporting future growth at Oban Airport. “Working in close partnership with Argyll and Bute Council and hub North Scotland, we remain committed to delivering a high-quality facility that aligns with the long-term ambitions for the site.” Read more about the project at https://lnkd.in/eh46-kXN #Construction #Infrastructure #Oban #ArgyllAndBute #EconomicDevelopment Jackson Steel Structures Limited | Ryder Architecture | @RYBKA | Waterman Group | Currie & Brown | TSL Contractors Limited | Geo Environmental Engineering Ltd | Bristow Group
