    @suresh Great question (gave an upvote too). The Pandavas desired svarga because they were actually the incarnations of devatas (i.e. Shri Lord Yamaraj incarnated as his son, etc) and therefore once their earthly duties are done they go back to their natural home (svarga). From the perspective of Dwaita Vedanta, all devatas will obtain moksha once their divine duties (earthly + heavenly) are finished, but until then they remain in svarga. Commented 17 hours ago
