Hi! Currently, I work as a student assistant in the FabLab. If you have any questions regarding the lab, don't hesitate to reach out to me!

If you want to see in detail what I have done at the chair, take a look at the timeline below.

I solemnly swear I am up to some good.

The Deceptive Dungeon: Bringing Deceptive Patterns to the Physical World

In the first few months of 2025, I had the amazing opportunity to participate in the Student Game Competition at CHI'25 with the Deceptive Dungeon, the interactive exhibit that was created in the 2024/2025 winter term's Media Computing Project under the supervision of René Schäfer and Prof. Borchers.
Together with Pascal Raabe and Erik Østlyngen I presented the work at the conference in Yokohama, Japan in April 2025, a great experience to visit CHI and present there.

Oh, and also: We won!

Working in the Fab Lab

First under the supervision of René Schäfer, and now under the supervision of Lea Schirp and Karl Deilmann.

Over the years, I have worked with other student assistants who were responsible for the Fab Lab: Esra Güney, Robert Rudnev, and currently Frederik Hilpert.

If you have any questions regarding the lab, don't hesitate to reach out to me!

My responsibilities are mainly to keep the Lab well-equipped, maintain the machines and tools we have, and introduce students who need to use them for their thesis or during their practical courses.
In the context of the Open Lab Day I also use our machines together with visitors to realize DIY projects.
Occasionally, we are visited by groups of children interested in fabrication. I have led some small workshops where the children were introduced to the lab and could build a small project (e.g. the Helle Köpfe 2026).
I also sometimes accompany, help to organize, and document the monthly Aachen Maker Meetup that takes place at our chair.
