“There is no successful company in a failed society.” One of the most powerful conversations last year at Volcano Summit was the fireside chat between Janma Bardi Aparicio, Founder of Volcano Summit, and Stuardo Sinibaldi, Chairman of Castillo Hermanos, exploring one of the most urgent challenges facing Guatemala and Latin America: chronic malnutrition. The vision started during the pandemic as a difficult but necessary question: Why had decades of efforts failed to significantly change malnutrition rates in Guatemala? The initiative began in one of the most remote regions of Guatemala with a vision grounded in scalability and dignity. Recently, the project was independently recognized as one of the most impactful and effective initiatives combating chronic malnutrition globally. At Volcano, we believe transformation happens through collaboration, inspiration, and collective action. Thank you to Janma Bardi, Stuardo Sinibaldi, and the entire Castillo Hermanos team for sharing this vision and reminding us that long-term impact begins when we choose to build beyond ourselves. 🌋 #Innovation #LATAM #SocialImpact

At Volcano, purpose is the foundation of how we build. We believe the most meaningful impact begins without expectation, and grows through people who choose to collaborate, contribute, and move with intention. What starts as a single exchange: an idea, a conversation, a moment, doesn’t stop there. It echoes. And as it travels, it expands. This is how ecosystems are built: through trust, openness, and shared momentum. Not in isolation, but in alignment. We shift what’s possible within every space we enter. When collaboration becomes the rhythm, expansion becomes inevitable. 🌋 → Watch our manifesto https://lnkd.in/eKm--FAn #EchoesOfExpansion #VolcanoSummit #EcosystemBuilding

At Volcano, we see innovation through people, and one of the greatest privileges of building this ecosystem is being invited into spaces like Stanford University to exchange perspectives on how the future is being shaped across regions, communities, and generations. As we continue strengthening our Academia pillar, our founders, Janma Bardi Aparicio and Marianne Springmühl visited Stanford through the lens of community, design, and future thinking, not only to learn from what is being built there, but to share how Volcano is innovating through connection, adaptability, and human-centered ecosystems. Reconnecting with Ise Lyfe at the Department of Design felt less like a visit and more like the continuation of a conversation that began two years ago at Volcano, when Ise first joined our community as a speaker. Experiences like these remind us innovation becomes more powerful when it moves through curiosity, by the people and institutions who are shaping the next generation of innovation. The future feels more intentional when it’s built through shared perspectives and communities willing to think beyond borders. #EcosystemBuilders #VolcanoCommunity #LatAmEcosystem

Why Volcano? In a world driven by speed, noise, and transactions, Volcano creates something different: A space where connection is intentional, trust is real, and collaboration leads to tangible impact. This is not just about gathering people. It’s about building an ecosystem where ideas evolve into partnerships, and conversations turn into long-term value. Volcano exists to integrate Latin America into the global network of innovation, by connecting the right people, at the right time, with a shared purpose. Because what happens here doesn’t end in three days. It expands. 🌋 #VolcanoSummit #EcosystemBuilding #InnovationLATAM

Last week, our founders Janma Bardi Aparicio and Marianne Springmühl were part of two of the key spaces shaping the future of entrepreneurship and technology in the region: the Endeavor Miami Summit and LatAm Tech Forum (LTF) 2026. Bringing together founders, investors, and technology leaders from around the world, they had the opportunity to connect with leaders actively shaping this global ecosystem: Allen Taylor (Endeavor), Vincent Speranza (Endeavor México), Brian Requarth (Latitud), Adalberto Flores Ochoa (Kueski), and Javier Mata (Yalo). A special thanks to Claudia Duran for the Endeavor Miami Summit, and to Riverwood Capital for LTF 2026, for creating the kind of spaces where meaningful conversations and long-term connections happen. What connects both spaces is clear: Massive growth potential in Latin America A shared perspective across global leaders A deep commitment to building the region’s future #VolcanoSummit #LatAmEcosystem #GlobalCommunity

At the Startup Venezuela Summit in Miami, our founders, Janma Bardi Aparicio and Marianne Springmühl, stood alongside the leaders currently shaping the next chapter for the LatAm ecosystem. A moment centered around Venezuela 🇻🇪 its talent, its diaspora, and the builders shaping what comes next. Created by Esteban Torbar, this space brings together a global Venezuelan community that continues to build, connect, and expand beyond borders. This is the kind of momentum we work towards every day at Volcano: when leaders come together, something meaningful is always created. Because the future of LatAm will be defined by communities of leaders willing to collaborate, challenge each other, and co-create solutions with intention. Trust is being built. Perspective is expanding. Momentum is starting to take form. We are grateful to have shared this space with Claudia Duran, Manuel J Godoy, Miguel Armaza, Alberto C. Vollmer, Stephania Greco, Juan José Pocaterra Mendoza; individuals who are contributing not only with what they build, but with how they choose to build it. We believe this is how ecosystems grow: When we move from individual ambition to shared responsibility. 🌋 #VolcanoCommunity #LatAmEcosystem #BuildingTogether
