at B-Hub, (CCCIET), Mar Ivanios Vidya Nagar, Nalanchira, Trivandrum,
from 10am-12pm (2 hours), on 11th January, 2020.

We have planned the following activities/sessions/discussions for the day:
1) Getting to know each other.
2) Session: A quick walkthrough on using Event Subscribers in Drupal 8 - (Level: Intermediate) - by Binny Thomas (Axelerant).
3) Hands-on Session: Best practices for setting up local development environments for working with Drupal 8 - (Level: Beginner) - by Nitheesh Chandrika (Origin Eight).
As part of the session, we will help everyone set up a good local development environment for learning / working with Drupal. (Please remember to bring your laptops so that we can then use this setup for later contribution sprints).
4) Group activity: Creating drupal.org profiles, signing up on Drupal Slack, introducing yourself to the global Drupal community.
5) Discussion: Future plans for our group.
