My friend and I just started a company & pre-launched our site this morning - http://plenticulture.com. We're still in the early stages, but I'm building the site in Drupal 6 and wanted to let you guys know what we're up to so we can see where we might be able to help each other. Here's our mission:
Officially, we're using technology to make it easier for people to find, cook and eat fresh foods in ways that strengthen their communities in the process. Unofficially? We're addressing some of the crazy cultural norms that have left us with such a dysfunctional food system - completely disconnected from where our food comes from, and often even completely clueless about how to prepare it.
We have several projects that tie in to the things I'm seeing here. I'm not sure how exactly this is going to come together, but I'm pretty excited about the possibilities.
