SKY express had the honor of attending the event hosted by the Greek Embassy in Madrid, as part of the celebration of March 25th. Through our presence, we had the opportunity to connect with members of the diplomatic and business community, further strengthening our relationships in the Spanish market. We continue to expand our international presence, investing in partnerships that bring Greece closer to the world. Μέσα από την παρουσία μας, είχαμε την ευκαιρία να συναντήσουμε εκπροσώπους της διπλωματικής και επιχειρηματικής κοινότητας, ενισχύοντας τις σχέσεις μας στην ισπανική αγορά. Συνεχίζουμε δυναμικά να διευρύνουμε τη διεθνή μας παρουσία, επενδύοντας σε συνεργασίες που φέρνουν πιο κοντά την Ελλάδα με τον κόσμο.

At SKY express, we remain committed to supporting initiatives that strengthen social cohesion and connectivity across Greece’s island communities. In this context, we were pleased to contribute to the travel of a student delegation from the Municipality of Vrilissia to Agathonisi, enabling their participation in the March 25th celebrations and student parade alongside the island’s school community. This initiative highlights the importance of solidarity with remote island regions, while offering students the opportunity to experience firsthand the unique realities of island life. We will continue to support actions that create meaningful social impact and enhance the connectivity of our islands. Στη SKY express, παραμένουμε προσανατολισμένοι στη στήριξη πρωτοβουλιών που ενισχύουν την κοινωνική συνοχή και τη συνδεσιμότητα της νησιωτικής Ελλάδας. Σε αυτό το πλαίσιο, είχαμε τη χαρά να συνεισφέρουμε στη μετακίνηση μαθητικής αποστολής του Δήμου Βριλησσίων προς το Αγαθονήσι, για τη συμμετοχή τους στις εκδηλώσεις και τη μαθητική παρέλαση της 25ης Μαρτίου, μαζί με τη σχολική κοινότητα του νησιού. Μια πρωτοβουλία που αναδεικνύει στην πράξη την αξία της αλληλεγγύης προς τις ακριτικές περιοχές, ενώ ταυτόχρονα δίνει στους μαθητές την ευκαιρία να γνωρίσουν από κοντά την καθημερινότητα και τις ιδιαιτερότητες της νησιωτικής ζωής. Θα συνεχίσουμε να είμαστε παρόντες σε δράσεις που έχουν ουσιαστικό κοινωνικό αποτύπωμα και ενισχύουν τη συνδεσιμότητα των νησιών μας. #SKYexpress

A strong presence by SKY express at the Greece Talks 2026 in Crete, actively contributing to the dialogue on the future of infrastructure, air transport, and tourism in Greece. Mr. Ioannis Grylos, owner of the company, participated in the panel discussion “Crete: Connecting the destination with the world”, highlighting the role of SKY express in strengthening competition and shaping a more dynamic aviation market in Greece. He also emphasized the need for investments in modern infrastructure, such as the new airport in Crete, as well as the strategic importance of year-round accessibility. As he stated: “Our strong presence in Crete is also reflected in the numbers. More than 3 million passengers have traveled to and from Crete with us over the past four years.” With an already flexible fleet, new aircraft set to join in the near future, and the opportunities created by the island’s new airport, SKY express continues to invest in connectivity and in the future of Greek tourism. Δυναμική η παρουσία της SKY express στο συνέδριο “Greece Talks 2026” στην Κρήτη, συμβάλλοντας ενεργά στο διάλογο για το μέλλον των υποδομών, των αερομεταφορών και του τουρισμού στην Ελλάδα. Ο κ. Ιωάννης Γρύλος, ιδιοκτήτης της εταιρίας, συμμετείχε στο πάνελ «Κρήτη: Συνδέοντας τον προορισμό με τον κόσμο» αναδεικνύοντας το ρόλο της SKY express στην ενίσχυση του ανταγωνισμού και στη διαμόρφωση μιας πιο δυναμικής αεροπορικής αγοράς για την Ελλάδα.  Τόνισε, μεταξύ άλλων, την ανάγκη για επενδύσεις σε σύγχρονες υποδομές, όπως το νέο αεροδρόμιο της Κρήτης, αλλά και τη στρατηγική σημασία της προσβασιμότητας καθ’ όλη τη διάρκεια του έτους. Όπως δήλωσε: «Η δυναμική παρουσία της εταιρείας στην Κρήτη αποτυπώνεται και στα μεγέθη. Περισσότεροι από 3 εκατομμύρια επιβάτες τα τελευταία 4 χρόνια ταξίδεψαν από και προς τ��ν Κρήτη μαζί μας.»    Με έναν ήδη ευέλικτο στόλο, νέα αεροσκάφη που αναμένονται και τις προοπτικές που δημιουργεί το νέο αεροδρόμιο του νησιού, η SKY express συνεχίζει να επενδύει στη συνδεσιμότητα και στο μέλλον του ελληνικού τουρισμού.

✈️ At SKY express, we are continuously investing in the safety and future of air transportation in Greece. The company’s owner, Mr. Ioannis Grylos, attended and signed the donation contract for the implementation of the Voice Communication & Recording System (VCRS), actively contributing to the modernization of critical air navigation infrastructure in the country. Mr. Grylos stated: “We owe a lot to this country. Therefore, this is an opportunity for us to give back. In this context, we chose to contribute through the donation for the modernization of air navigation systems, while also enhancing aviation safety.” This initiative is led by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, and SKY express was honored to collaborate closely with the Ministry, the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority, and the other donors, supporting the safety and efficiency of the national air traffic system. ✈️ Στη SKY express, επενδύουμε συνεχώς στην ασφάλεια και το μέλλον των αερομεταφορών στην Ελλάδα. Ο ιδιοκτήτης της εταιρείας, κ. We were pleased to participate in ITB 2026, a key meeting point for tourism professionals from all over the world. During the event, the SKY express team was invited to participate in a Fireside Chat to share insights on digital strategies that support our commercial and marketing objectives. This recognition reflects the continuous work and expertise of our digital team in leveraging data, technology, and advanced advertising platforms to connect with travellers more effectively. It was a pleasure to participate in the Tourism Fair Albania 2026, an event that highlights the remarkable momentum of Albania’s tourism sector and creates valuable ground for new partnerships and opportunities. During the fair, we had the chance to showcase our strategic role in the region, supported by the most extensive domestic network in Greece and an expanding international route map. Our year-round direct flights from Tirana to Athens and Heraklion further strengthen this connectivity, offering travelers seamless access to two major Greek hubs. With the youngest fleet in Greece, we remain committed to offering a travel experience that meets the expectations of today’s traveler. For this year’s International Women’s Day, the SKY express team chose to celebrate in a different way. A group of our male volunteers visited Το Χαμόγελο του Παιδιού - The Smile of the Child, where, with the support of the organization’s team, they prepared small gifts for all the women of SKY express. During the visit, our volunteers also had the opportunity to learn more about the organization’s mission, initiatives and daily operations, gaining valuable insight into the impactful work they carry out. A small gesture of appreciation to celebrate the women of SKY express and the values of solidarity and contribution that unite us. Happy International Women’s Day!
