The CNC Training Center is the 1st HTEC (Haas Technical Education Center) in Greece and the wider region. ✈️ How To Plane 101 Workshop by EUROAVIA Athens has successfully come to an end! On October 25th & 26th, at NTUA, participants explored the fundamentals of aerodynamics (XFLR5), mechanical design (SolidWorks) and 3D printing (Bambu Lab). 💻 🛩️ After two days filled with engineering, aerodynamics, and creativity, we designed, printed, andassembled 4 model airplanes, which we tested through real flights and aerodynamic analysis! 🛠️ A big thank you to our three amazing instructors, and to all the participants, organizers, and members who made this workshop a success! 💙

🪽 Wings, Lights & Inspiration - Our day at Tanagra 🌕 ✨ On September 6th, 2025, our team had the opportunity to attend Athens Flying Week 2025, the largest airshow in Southeastern Europe, held at the Tanagra Air Base.🛫 🛩️ Throughout the day, we witnessed breathtaking displays from some of the most renowned teams and aircraft, including the Rafale Solo Display of the French Air and Space Force, Eurofighter Typhoon, Tornado, as well as the Hellenic Air Force demonstration teams F-16 “Zeus” and T-6“Daedalus.”🚁 🌌 After sunset, the sky lit up with a spectacular night parachute show, featuring parachutists equipped with LED lighting systems. Their illuminated formations and colorful patterns painted the night sky,creating a mesmerizing spectacle that blended technology, courage, and artistry. 🪂 This experience brought us closer to the world of aviation and served as a true source of inspiration for our future projects. ✈️

Be a EUROAVIAn 2025 was a success ✨️ On October 8th, we held our annual event “Be a EUROAVIan”, a day dedicated to introducing our team, EUROAVIA Athens, and showcasing our work and activities! Participants had the opportunity to meet the Technical and Marketing Teams, learn about their roles within the organization, and discover some of the technical features behind our projects, including the design and construction processes of our aircraft. ✈️ The aircrafts HERMES VI, Atlas, and HERMES VII were presented, giving attendees the chance to see up close the results of our members’ hard work and dedication. 🛠️ The Technical Team explained the stages of design and implementation, while the Marketing Team 📸 discussed communication strategies, partnership management, and the ways EUROAVIA’s work is promoted to a wider audience. We were also honored to host a former member of our team online, who shared his experience and spoke about how EUROAVIA played a key role in his professional journey. During the break, guests enjoyed food from Goody’s, drinks from Red Bull, and had the chance to try out our Flight Simulator — a unique and engaging experience that stole the spotlight! 🙏 A huge thank you to our sponsors and partners for their continuous support and contribution to the success of this event!

We are truly grateful to Altair and Eleni Argyriou for inviting EUROAVIA Athens to participate in the Global Student Team Workshops 2025! 🤩 Our Technical Director Georgios Koukounas had the opportunity to present our project “Designing and Optimizing HERMES VI & VII UAVs”, showcasing how Altair’s tools supported our team in developing and improving our UAV designs. Events like this highlight the power of collaboration between academia and industry, giving students the chance to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge engineering software while sharing their work with a global community.
