Hi everybody! My name is Sergei. I live in Munich and I work as a Technical Lead for JetBrains.

👨‍🏭 In my spare time, I implement various open-source projects. Mostly it's about porting old games and software to current platforms (like Heroes). And sometimes developing something new (like a CRDT-based text editor). As a 20% project, I work on Kotlin/Py backend.

What about other interests?

👨‍🎓 I like to participate in education. I've been a Kotlin elective assistant at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow for 3 years. Now I'm mentoring more than 10 students with their coursework.

📚 I love reading ('cause it's the fastest way to understand new things for me), 🎥 TV-series (firstly to learn English but then I went mad), 🎮 video games (adventure metroidvanias or just 4 fun w/ friends), 😎 VR, and 🚴‍♂️ bicycling (the only sweaty activities I like).

🎶 To reach the flow, I listen to Synthwave and Deep House.
